I'd love us to get Bernard on loan with option to buy, but I'm doubtful we can pull it off. For me would be the signing of the summer for us.
It's not more depth if we have another player who takes a half a season or more to prove any use to us(if at all). You can be dismissive about Lennon's contribution if you want but every manager at Spurs has made him an important player in their plans and I think that means a lot more than any of our opinions on the player. Besides, Pochettino isn't the type to sign loan players just to fill out the squad and if we sold Lennon we'd still have 3 wide players(plus Holtby, Kane and the youngsters) so we wouldn't be short on the wings.
I don't think 'disagree' affects reputation. We desperately need a quality left sided winger/forward.
Lennon is a crock of sh*t these days.
Edit:
Come'on Little Jondy,
How's Lennon not useless? Does he create chances? No
Can he cross? No
Can he shoot? No
Does he score goals? No
Does he vanish into a black hole 9/10? Yes
Do you ever comment other than neg repping? No

I've been quite underwhelmed by Bernard. I know the counter arguments for the likes of Modric, Cazorla and Eriksen are valid examples of when smaller players succeed in the Prem, but he seems even smaller than that...!
Sure he dribbles but I don't know if he'll be given as much time on the ball in the Prem as he has abroad. A loan isn't a bad option - Liverpool worked that quite well when they loaned in Nuri Sahin and Victor Moses for instance, astute loans which meant there was minimal risk but could have pulled off nicely.
I like the idea of a strong powerful winger with pace (I guess how we thought Nacer Chadli might turn out) as our front three when we play Lennon, Eriksen and Lamela are all a little lightweight.
Has anyone watched him in Ukraine, or Brazil?? Is he really that special?? I wasn't impressed at all by his WC performances. Harsh to judge a player on WC performances but I have no other form of reference as I have never seen him play.
Again I've heard he hasn't been tearing up trees in the Ukraine, not even a guaranteed starter, but again he could be just acclimatising like Lamela.
I was very sceptical about Bernard before he signed for Donetsk due to him being very light weight. However, having seen him in action for Donetsk and Brazil, he definitely has talent and he's pretty nippy. A loan with the option of a perm deal would be ideal, that way we can see if he's going to be our Coutinho or Lennon mk2.
"Too small for the prem"
It gets on my tits when people disagree or dislike something but never have the balls to express their own opinion or to back up why they disagree... 9/10 it's the members who never ever comment, just neg rep instead.
Blimey, guys, not going to reply to them as it'll take me all night. All I'll say is that I know there's not a minimum height requirement to make it as a PL footballer. Nearly all the players mentioned as examples are brilliant players though, and whilst Bernard is talented(so are lots of players) he really hasn't proven himself to be put in that bracket. Yes, that's through the lack of chances to prove himself and if Pochettino wants him and he's available at an affordable price, then great, lets try and get him on a permanent deal.
I think people talking about a loan deal with an option to buy at certain price are fooling themselves, however. As I said, Shakhtar aren't in a position to be bullied and giving us an option to buy would only weaken their position for selling him. If they were to sell to us with an option to buy then surely the deal would not be free, or nominal, like some are saying. A loan without an agreed fee might be cheap but we're at best getting the opportunity to help develop a top talent for a year, at worst wasting our time(and a squad place) with a flop. I think we should either be aiming for better than that, or concentrating on giving opportunities to the players we already have.
It's because not everything you say is worth the time to write out why you're wrong. Nor worth getting into a discussion with over why it's wrong. I know myself personally will just hand out a disagree as a sort of "Nope. You are incorrect." alternative instead of writing out something which I feel is blatantly obvious, but you're unwilling to admit in an argument. It gets on my tits when people disagree or dislike something but never have the balls to express their own opinion or to back up why they disagree... 9/10 it's the members who never ever comment, just neg rep instead.
I'm struggling to think of a single team who would or could buy Lennon, seriously can anyone think of a team that would????

He'd fit quite well with what Everton try to do strategically, but I'm not sure if they'd be interested.
He contributs more goals and assists than Townsend.Except I'm not wrong, Lennon is a waste of space.
@Sweech, you're clearly deluded if you think Lennon contributes anything other than covering the full backs ass.
On 23 August, at 6:00, two powerful explosions occurred at Donbass Arena. As a result of shelling, there are numerous damages of the northwestern facade of the stadium, communications, equipment and detached building of the energy centre, which is located in the northern part of the Donbass Arena park.
