Best CL Moment Behind Moura in Amsterdam?

Was discussing at work today. Obviously the Ajax semi-final comes first - what's been our second best moment?

Bale vs Inter. So many things happened that night. We actually announced we can do it with big boys, playing the European Champions off the park. Bale announced that he was world class and the atmosphere that evening was one if the best WHL had seen.

Aside from Moura and Bale as above, my favourite was Vertonghen's masterclass against Borussia Dortmund. His inch perfect assist for Son, his goal, his whole performance actually and of course the Super Jan celebration. You've just got to love Super Jan

It was just pure joy.

Plucky underdogs defeating the holders in our first season in the CL.

WHL rocked. It was a night worthy of the ol' place.

Sterling VAR for third place for me just because of how gutted Pep looked.

Those are all good moments but when we were crashing out against Real Madrid at the lane and the entire stadium did the entire spurs song repertoire. That has always stood out for some reason.

Well second for me was away at Man city. Phenomenal game, was more nerve-wracking than the Ajax game because it was always on a knife edge while during the Ajax game I just thought we were out.

Tbh the whole run was incredible, how we somehow grinded out of the group after a terrible start, getting points very late. 1 point after 3 games. We score a last minute goal to win against PSV, a late eriksen goal to beat Inter and a late Lucas goal to get the point against Barcelona that gets us through.

Third was probably Inter at white hart lane. Dismantling a very good team who were the CL holders let's not forget was really a statement performance. A fantastic run as well, away at the San Siro against Milan was also very fun.

I just started my fandom in 2012 so didn't see any UCL games pre-Poch.

Beating Real Madrid at Wembley was amazing but also beating Dortmund in the group stages 3-1 in that first matchday felt like a real announcement to the world that Spurs were legit.

Regardless of how it turned out, walking up the High Road to watch the final, surrounded by 100,000 other spurs fans, was what supporting a football club is all about...

We actually have had a good few memorable CL nights.

I loved real Madrid at Wembley, I think they were defending champions and we bet them 3-1, great night & atmosphere.

Shoutout for the inter game at WHL, city at the new ground, ac milan away and the absolute wall of sandro/palacios(proper away tie performance at a seriously difficult stadium)
