With Bayern Munich failing to win on Friday night Tottenham Hotspur remain holding the record of most wins in Europe to start a season.
Eleven wins to start season in 1960/61 by Spurs is a record no club in Europe has overcome. Not Barca, not Real Madrid, not Inter nor AC Milan and now Bayern can break the remarkable feat achieved by the Flower of the South our own precious Lilywhites.
