Big Brad has said he will make an announcement on his future in a few days...on the move or retirement?

He's such a great bloke and a model pro, I wouldn't begrudge him going out on loan to someone to get games. At the end of the day his days are numbered as a professional footballer, he wants to make the most of it and not just sit on the bench. Credit to him for that, he could just see himself into retirement by sitting on our bench, collecting however many thousand quid per week we pay him. But he wants to play.

Good luck to him.

Nice guy but how can he be considered as a goal keeping coach, what is he gonna teach Lloris?

Tony Parks got the best out of Gomes. You don't have to be at the top of your profession to become an excellent coach. And Brad would be (and probably already is) a huge inspiration to our younger keepers anyway.

Did Fergie, Wenger or Mourinho play at the highest level? Being the best doesnt mean you will be the best teacher and vice versa.

He may already be helping Lloris to settle in, being a foreigner himself that has been over here for some time now. he also seems to be a guy with his feet on the ground (no pun intended, we all know he don't come off his line lol) and someone with humility which is missing from some of these youngsters these days

We should set up a youth goal keeping project with him,
get quality coaching for young goalie prospects from all over London.
That's something he's shown interest in before, and it could benefit us as well.
Invite kids from other London clubs to work with him at Hotspur Way.

Just because he is a GK doesn't mean he has to be a GK coach specifically. On ESPN and stuff he seems to have a good appreciation of the game in general so he could be a good coach.

I think he would be a good coach and would be happy to see him stay as he is a good role model and seems to be well liked and respected

Well, it took the arrival of the French #1 keeper to loose his job so I figure he'll play somewhere else... dunno for sure, but doubt he'll retire yet.

We need to keep him here at least until summer, the thought of lloris getting injured and Gomes being back up is frightening.
