Love Kulusevski and what he offers to the team. He's just lacking that top level speed to make him perfect for this system. I'm sure he will adapt and we will find ways to utilise him more, but we genuinely need someone pacy out there. Dare I say it, even Brennan Johnson would have been in behind loads this half.

I don’t rate Kulusevski like most of the forum, he’s definitely the one we need to upgrade but I think we have enough up top with Son able to play there as well. We played a top side last week and looked good though, cant ask for much more so far.

Kulusevski doesn’t offer enough, sorry. Too slow and far too predictable. Solomon would be a far more useful option in a match like this where we are breaking constantly. Kulusevski is like a snail out wide

I think Kulu is the one struggling to adapt the most. Under Conte he took the safe option and it's become ingrained. He just needs to take the positive option every time for a bit and hopefully his game will turn around.

Richy has come short, made plenty of lay offs, kept the ball moving, got flick ons and all sorts of positive things.

Fine he hasn’t scored, if you feel the need to always be on someone’s back then lead with that, but his all round play has been good today.

We don't need him to come short or move into channels. He leaves the box complete barren and provides no threat. When Maddison or Son look up, he's not where he should be. IMO.

Back 8 excellent (especially Romero, VDV and Madders), front three less so. Kulu has been worryingly ineffective. That inability to just slide the ball along the floor to Maddison was especially poor near the end of the half. Instead he drilled it waist height at the defender.

I say this every week. But just for 20 minutes. Okay Son on the right and Kulu on the left? Why not even try it. Infuriates me.
