We’ve gone from an awful midfield last season to the best midfield this season. It’s amazing how quick the culture can change!

This just drives home one of the best quotes I heard from Ange this week - (Paraphrasing) - You can't expect change, if you don't make changes.

Tbh the Kulu we are seeing these days is the same Kulu that was at Juve and the player I didn’t think we should have signed.

I can’t tell if it’s just a mentality thing tho because we saw what he’s capable of in those first 6s months. He does have the ability but he’s so far off it currently. Ether way I think Solomon should be given a start there even if he prefers the left.
It's an out of position thing. Kulusevski has some great qualities, but he absolutely does not have what it takes to be a wide player in the EPL. He's too slow, and the Premier League is a fast league, especially in the wide areas.

Should only ever play centrally in a League like the Premier League, and if he's not good enough for that then he shouldn't be in the squad.

Give it a rest. He was playing out of position for the dinosaur.

He needs 8-10 games before passing judgement.

Porro got blasted continually and he’s had a lot less playing time. But somehow we’re meant to give our most expensive signing ever more time?

Should be 2 or 3 up, not making the most of some excellent situations with poor decisions or poor execution

I love Deki, but he has wasted a few promising situations with bad decisions. When he first joined I remarked that what impressed me most about him was his decision making at such a young age that it reminded me of KDB. This is an issue of confidence and/or rhythm, and we all put the blame at Conte’s door but he needs to get back to these levels as we can’t afford to carry passengers

Biggest take for me is the work breaking down a low block, that's going to be crucial for us in possibly 10-15 games.
Looking very good in transition though, probably should have done a bit better with the finishing but we've cut through effortlessly.

Kulu seems to be the new fall guy and he could do better at times but he does do a lot right, keeps the ball well, hustles, is physical and frustrating to play against, think it could be a good combination with Solomon coming on and using his pace and skill at 60 mins..

How does his 5 goals and 8 assists in 18 games playing from the right when he first joined fit into this analysis? He’s got the quality, he’s done it before. But he’s been poor for a while and his place must be under threat. There isn’t a place for him in this team centrally

I’m all ears for names. None of them really sound realistic or close to happening.

Johnson though there’s a lot of smoke around his name and clearly a deal to be done with Forest. Sure we should do better, but even he would be better than Kulusevski at the moment.

We’ve been linked with the likes of Chiesa, Doku, and Jota.

Obviously Doku has gone to City and the other two may be unlikely, but that’s the level of quality we need — a player who is immediately ready to step into the first XI and light a fire under the incumbents in the front three.

We shouldn’t be making signings that aren’t of the required level simply because they’re available. That’s how we collected so much deadwood to begin with. If we can’t bring in the right player this window we’d be far better off waiting for January or next summer than bringing in substandard players simply for the sake of make a signing.

We really need to go at them these next 20 minutes. We've shown we can create, but feels like we've just started going at half pace and letting them come at us.
