Great sign that even with wholesale changes of important players like Biss, Udoggie,Saar and Madison the level of football doesn't drop.
So well drilled already.
Keep it up Ange.
I think a lot of our players got a lot of stick over the past few seasons that should've been directed towards the coaching staff.

It's hard to not want to look to the transfer window looking to build on the defence and midfield with signings for this season I have to say. Nobody knows the future but I don't think we should rush anything and stick to this being a season of laying foundations. It's difficult to see Brennan Johnson moving the needle too much I have to say.

Won't be shocked if Veliz get's a chance sooner than we expected.

Very confident tidy performance. Soon as Bournemouth started to get a sniff.
Ange shut that down immediately with those substitutions.

2nd week running where we have sucked the life out of the opponents. Neither United nor Bournemouth had anything left in the tank at the end of the match. Looked defeated for the closing 10-15 minutes.
Our intensity and fitness looks a million times better than last year. We couldn't cope with teams unless they played at a snails pace last year. Now teams are struggling to match our intensity.

I hope Mourinho and Conte are watching and realise weirdly, attacking football does work.

Today has made me think that their approach to management was to ignore what was right infront of them and try and find a solution which gave the illusion of knowing something that others don't. Ange made the simple decisions that were clear for all to see and was rewarded.

Maddison is fast becoming my favourite player, even thinking about how things could have been with Kane... would have been something else.

Great win COYS!!

Van de Ven looks like an incredible buy so far. He and Romero complement each other so incredibly well. Even our subs look like entirely different players compared to last season. It's actually fun being a Spurs fan right now. Had 100% forgotten that feeling after the last couple of years

We might well have gone for the better option after all in van der Ven as opposed to Tapsoba.

Been imperious next to Romero
I said this about 5 times before we signed him. VDV is the better player. Would still like Tapsoba but VDV passed the eye test way more comfortably for me

The players seem to be really enjoying themselves.

Dare i say it, they may feel liberated now with a superstar like kane no longer around

Yep. Credit to Hojbjerg, he stedied the ship.

Richi was disappointing 2nd half, he tries too hard, then seems to lose his game when frustrated. Imo

Deki was a different player after his goal went in, he looked sharper. Hopefully that goal gets his confidence and rhythm back

All I want now is a Captain Sonny goal
He looked so relieved when the goal went in, hopefully he can play more with confidence now.

Right. The profile of our players just doesn't suit the negative, safety first approach. We always look better trying to go forward and take the game to the opponent.

City are the one exception to this, for obvious reasons.

Some very, very lovely football at times. I kept watching thinking “I hope something comes of this as it would make for a beautiful goal”. Not to be, but really silky stuff at times.
(Kane, oh Kane, what have you done?! That record could have been yours easily by summer!)

I said this Amy happen during Harry’s rumoured exit. We seem to be a team rather than the Harry show
