Really surprised by this~ I think he's done great with what he's had and now begs the question who will come in to save them?
Advantage Everton

It's a gamble but they have nothing to loose.

Everton have the ability to slip up and with a new manager bounce (if they get one quickly) could catch them.

They have a lot to lose imo. He's worked wonders year after year, and I'm sure if they'd have gone down he'd have got them back up. They have a very niche squad that not everyone could get a tune from

I think they’ll live to regret that, i have a lot of time for Sean Dyche and overall he has done a fantastic job keeping them in this league and somewhat competitive.

Blimey, surprised by that.
Seems like a strange decision from here but it'll be interesting to see who they've got lined up because I can't see many people doing better than Dyche with their squad.

Still, will be interesting to see what Dyche can do at another club with a bit more backing.

Dyche will be WBA or Stoke manager by next month. Maybe Everton if go down. I’d love to seen him with decent money would be fascinating.

Absolutely shocking on the face of it.

They'll be aware how good dyche has been though so surely there's a very good reason here we don't know?

Either a new manager or his tenure became untenable but if it's because of the Norwich result or something similar that is ridiculous

Seems like a really bad decision, but I wonder if Burnley fans think the same

Seems unlikely to have been the Norwich defeat - why wait until now if that were the case.

It seems more likely that something happened behind the scenes to cause this reaction.

Nothing to lose, except their PL status.

New manager bounce statistically is not a thing.
