Thanks everyone, it has been passed on to his mum Nicola, this was the response:

I can't thank you enough for this. I've just through the replies and they are truly inspirational. I've just whispered to Callum that he's been willed on by his spurs family. I'll keep looking at the page and read out replies to him. Keep them coming. Positive energy. COYS xx x

Woke up this morning to the euphoria of the Lamela, Chiriches and Eriksen signings. Amidst all the euphoria, Milkybaryid posted the news about his 15 year old nephew, a fellow Spurs fan, who had a fall from a tree and was fighting for his life in Hospital with head trauma and a broken back.

I'm not ashamed to say that I welled up big time on reading this.

As a father of two, one the same age, it hit me hard and has been on my mind all day. It also had me wondering how we, in our own way, could do what we could to help the young'un along with his recovery.

Now I'm a great believer in positive reinforcement and that positive vibes can help to overcome the most difficult of obstacles. So it struck me, we have thousands of users on this site, all of whom can help in their own way by using this site. So I thought that I'd start a thread where we can all leave a message for Callum, wish him well, send him a message of strength but, most importantly, let him know that there are thousands of Yids out here willing him to get better and make a full recovery.

He's one of ours guys, let's let him know just how big his family really is. I'm sure Milkybaryid will be more than happy to pass all of this along to him for as long as it takes for him to get better.

Stay strong Callum and beat this son. The Yids in Aussie are pulling for you.

Ian and Family

Ian, I would like to post this on COYS and garner even more support for the young lad, would you have any objections? I too am a father to 3 children and it really brings home how precious our little ones are when tragedy like this happens. A great post and heartfelt words btw mate.

Wow, heavy story - Callum, dude, 15 year olds are made of tough stuff and at your age you still mend pretty well - i'm confident that if you can stay positive and focus on all the amazing crap still to do before you get old and creaky, like my bad self, you'll be on your feet in no time.

Also, remember you kinda have carte blanche to make up any story you like as to how you obtained your epic injury - if you need a few hints, might i suggest a few intro's which you can expand on depending on the situation; a) "See, i had this polar bear in a headlock...", b) "I was freediving off the Coast of Argentina, planting limpit mines on a Pirate ships hull..." or, my personal preference, c) "I was front row in the Park Lane end when Sandro scored a screamer. He ran into the crowd and grabbed me for a hug..."

Either way - hope you have a speedy recovery and if you have scars, may they be manly and bold. Chicks dig scars.
