The club have confirmed that the Carling Cup will be paraded at the lane before next weeks game against PSV (!st leg). Not sure if this is such a good idea. I think we should leave all the parades to the end of the season. We need to be fully focused on the game.

From official site:

The Carling Cup will be presented to fans at White Hart Lane before our home match against PSV Eindhoven on Thursday March 6.

The Club is grateful for the offer of a parade from Haringey Council, however given the League Cup Final falls mid-season, it is difficult to hold such a celebratory parade. The Club is delighted to accept the Council’s invitation to Civic Reception. Juande and Ledley will bring the Cup to this event (date to be announced) and the Council and Club will set about ensuring that the local community within the Borough gets to share in the excitement of the Cup win.

The Carling Cup will also be on display in the Spurs Megastore on Tottenham High Road this weekend, check the Club website for further details.

That means they'll just bring it out and show it to the fans before the game. I expect the players will stay in the dressing room.

Agreed....We should leave the 'Cup Thrills' until we have 'chill time' available. PSV are going to be trying to topple the Carling Cup Holders....either way. Football demands FULL concentration and no doubt Ramos knows this. I understand that he refused to PARADE the Uefa Cup at Sevilla until 'the biz' was done 'and dusted'.
A home demolition of PSV is essential, bearing in mind that they are no slouches themselves (CL from tail to tip!). Celebrate when celebration permits....otherwise...concentrate of business matters....COYS!

I've never UNDERSTOOD your replies in the past and i have no idea WHY you type some WORDS in capitals when the word in question doesn't EVEN need to be emphasized, like PARADE.

Flatters is correct by the way, all this means is that the cup will be on show in the ground before the match. Nowt wrong with that and didn't expect any less to be honest.

I remember our last cup final win v Leicester, we showed the highlights before our next home game. Which was against Leicester again and duly got beat.
GG didn't know they were going to show it and went mad as it had spurred on the opposition and made us look complacent.
