Just watched the Shaw incident. You can see when he hits the ground and rolls over that his leg is flopping below the knee. Could be a double leg break, looks awful. Poor git.

Definite brutal. Looking at the pictures when he is holding his leg above the knee and below is just flopping. Only thing holding it together is his shin pad.

Feel for the lad, just starting to get a run in the side.

Feel sorry for Shaw, season over and probably a place in the Euros with it
Not just this season. I could see it being 12-18 months before he could return to training. Sadly, I think there is a possibility that he will never be the same and will never reach the heights he could have. Will need all the time, patience and help he can possibly get for him to get back to where he is. Such a devastating injury.

Kompany scores for City (Chiellini OG, actually). His arms were all over the defender, round his neck. Juve very upset.

Ronaldo scored a pen, the first shot hit the player's back and the ref got it very wrong.. sigh

Well, that's annoying. Kompany climbed all over Chiellini for that, should have been called as a foul. Honestly, those officials behind the goal are bloody useless.

I've given an opponent an injury just like that, and it was a pure accident.
50/50 challenge, I got their first and the follow-through snapped his leg.
Ref said wasn't my fault at all.
I was devastated.....
I quit playing about 2 months later as never want to be on the receiving end of that kind of injury.

City just can't get to grips with CL football.

Juventus obviously a very good side but they've struggled so far this season.

Bloody delighted with that result. Great 3 points against an in form side. Missing Aguero really helped us.

I thought Cuadrado had a great game, really worked his socks off as the right sided centre mid. He got back and forth really well and was good on the ball. I can't see why Mourinho didn't want him.

premier league teams would be better off if they were put under a five year transfer ban, english football must be the joke of europe.

Okay, we are going to fulfill our dream to finish 4th next season... with only Top3 in EPL can go to CL
Could it be as early as next year that England could lose s place? I thought the 'coefficient' (whatever that is) was pretty high?

Another couple of games where English CL teams look second best against what have been either an out of form team in Juve or just an average team in PSV.

People say that the BPL has improved as the midtable teams seem to have closed the gap on those above, but the reality seems more that City, Chelsea, Utd, Goons, Liverpool and us have just got poorer.

Many people on here bang on about how poor Spurs were last season but we finished 5th, what does that say about the league?
