Celtic v Barcelona
Lyon v Manchester United
Schalke v Porto
Liverpool v Inter Milan
Roma v Real Madrid
Arsenal v AC Milan
Olympiakos v Chelsea
Fenerbahce v Sevilla

Who do you think will win the first legs?

I reckon:

Celtic
ManU
Schalke
Inter
Real
L'Scum
Chelski
Sevilla

I think they will be the winners overall as well, apart from maybe Arse v Milan and Celtic v Barca

And having been crap for half the season, Milan have got their act together and won five of their last six.

Not so sure about Liverpool v. Inter, either. Rafa does seem to have this knack of pulling a rabbit out of the hat in the CL, although on paper it's Inter all the way.

With Milan having to rely on Gilardino now, I don't think they have a prayer. Even though there form has picked up, it has been a marginal improvement.

For first legs I'll go:

Draw
United
Shalke
Liverpool
Roma
Arse

Barca will destroy Celtic I reckon

At the Nou Camp - yes
At Parkhead - no.

Same as always, Celtic are unreal at home in Europe but awful away. Can't see it being any different this time.

And Barcelona aren't at the races this year. Messi being injured was/is a huge loss for them. Unlikely they can claw back the gap to Real Madrid, they way both are playing.

barca will destroy celtic, make no mistake by that. somehow i think barca wants the champion's league more than la liga nowadays and henry will be more than motivated.

It wouldn't be too much of a shock. They wiped the floor with Werder home and away, beaten Lazio in Rome, held Real in Athens and were leading at the Bernabeu with half-an-hour to go.

Did they destroy Rangers? Home or away? No. I just can't see it at Parkhead, Celtic are really strong at home, look who they've beaten in recent years ffs. They always raise their game against the top sides. While I do think Barca will go through over the 2 legs, it'll be tougher than people think.

Maybe I've got the green and white blinkers on

Celtic 1-1 Barcelona
Lyon 1-2 Manchester United
Schalke 2-0 Porto
Liverpool 0-0 Inter Milan
Roma 2-2 Real Madrid
Arsenal 1-1 AC Milan
Olympiakos 0-2 Chelsea
Fenerbahce 1-3 Sevilla

Let's see how I do.

I reckon you might do alright CC. Well except unfortunately the Goons. I don't see Milan getting close, they don't have a fit goalkeeper or a striker who can kick a ball straight.

AC Milan will probably struggle.

They're not having a particularly good season.

If Liverpool dont start well then Inter overpower them and win by 2 goals. Real Madrid will beat Roma 3-2 and Barca will let off some steam against Celtic, hopefully Ronnie will start.

AC Milan might be forced to use their 3rd choice GK now that both Dida and Kalac are injured and unlikely to recover. The guy is 39 years old and hasn't played an official match in 5 years

Just started streaming the Chelsea game, so i can keep track of both - in the studio, which appears to be a Champions League Sky setup (Star Sports), though it might not be - Hoddle, Redknapp and Gus Poyet in the studio... Talk about the Lane being a pundit-farm

edit: turns out it's a Sky Sports 2 stream. Who knew, eh?

Materazzi off.....His first yellow was pathetic and the second wasn't much to talk about.

Torres continues to dive
