I've looked and looked, supposedly West Ham have had to give the WHOLE Trevor Brooking stand to Cardiff, that's about 12'000 seats? Surely not? That's like Spurs having to give the whole South Stand to away fans..

I've looked on the football-league.co.uk site and can't find anything. What are the true regs?

Cheers

Yeah I noticed that as well. That's ridiculous if true. Some clubs in that league don't even have 12000 fans. I just thought West Ham didn't come anywhere close to selling out.

I called my dad cos he's a spammer and we just had a little disagreement about it. I can't believe they'd be forced to give away that many seats and therefore lose such a high gate revenue?!

Spammers were advetising this game at a fiver for kids so they wouldn't have filled that part anyway.

There were empty seats everywhere, not just that stand. Maybe the Trevor Brooking stand was a police request due to the reps of the 2 sets of fans?

Would it make a difference on that, surely they keep the revenue no matter which person sits there?

I'd much prefer clubs who don't sell out their grounds to be forced to offer more tickets to away fans. Fulham do this by choice of course. I'm not saying they should sell any remaining tickets, but why not turn over a whole stand to the away club who might actually fill it?
