Even worst than the last worst, which was a few days a go.
This was much worse than then. You expect it from some players, but not everyone. Sissoko was probably the only player who came out with some credit in that regard.

Sadly I am starting to agree with you
Especially if he is too blind to see this squad doesn't need investment which is what @JJetset alluded to in Jan.
Big summer ahead and what damage to our budget if we don't get CL football, I fear we are in for a rough summer
It won't matter we loosing best player's, eriksen. Toby, etc we will be lucky to stand still which in this LGE means falling behind

We are not the finished article by a long way but we are moving in that direction.
We are almost in the last 8 of the Champs League, we are 3rd in the league.
We haven’t played a proper home game for 18 months.
It still has the potential to be the 2nd greatest season in our history.
Even getting to the semi and coming top 4 would have seemed almost mental 15 years ago.
I think the most annoying thing is we were playing a bang average side and 30 minutes without their best player.
I haven’t read the rest of the thread but the texts I’m getting are so depressing it’s not real.

You only have to see some of the names in our Squad to realise how fortunate we are to be 3rd.

Tripper, Davies, Sissoko, Llorente, Moura, Lamela, Dier, Aurier, Wanyama

None of those get in other top 6 teams. You could even include Lloris.

We have a handful of top players, at best.

We play average football. We have no pace. We play narrow.

It’s either Poch, Levy or both of them to blame for our current situation. We need to invest so much just to stand still for next season.

Quite frankly, I’m fed up of it all.

I can’t wait for the stadium. But I’m not sure what sort of team I will be watching.
At this rate we will be watching the Europa league

Ditch the f'ing diamond. For the first goal, Davies was left on his own against three players, as Eriksen gets sucked in and hardly tracks back to help.

As for Trippier, people are kidding themselves if they think Aurier is not better than this bloke. Should be playing with the U-23's.

Can we file a missing person's report for Eriksen? He's been missing since Saturday.

Lose against Arsenal and I think Top 4 is off the cards. Hate harping on about signings but how we havent signed a central midfielder is beyond me and thats all on Poch and Levy.

Lloris and Tripps are equally To blame. There should have been a mutual understanding of what to do in that situation.

No. It was a tricky ball right between the two and the bounce was awkward. Lloris was there if the ball skidded on the surface. Trippier was covering the Chelsea player. It bobbled to Trippier and he didn’t look up to see where Lloris was. That’s all he had to do. If he had, he’d have either booted it for a throw or more likely pass it gently to where Lloris actually was!

Everyone makes mistakes. Every team makes mistakes.

The problem in this game and Burnley was just the slow, inept attacking. We didn’t look like scoring.

No but needs more than 10yrs to sort that shite out
A pre-season that involves more than 8 kids, Eriksen for a couple of games and Son getting fit for an International tournament would be a start.

But considering that a few players wouldn't have gone a miss either.

And if you don't think Pre-season has that much effect, just look at how many more injuries we've had than everyone else, also look at how our high press has been pretty much non existent, this season we have looked as low energy and slow in our play as we have in years. but we have managed to pick up points in spite of that.

I still believe there's more to come from this group of players and coaches, sure one or two additions would be welcome too but i think we'll be a different proposition next season.

When you think about it, we sold Walker and used his money to get Llorente and Aurier.

Who the fuck makes this decisions? Fuck me.
I'll be honest and say I thought Aurier would be a good buy, happy to say I may have got it wrong.

But yeah, getting 50m for Walker and not buying a seriously good player with the money has been a terrible move.

A lot of these previous decisions are hurting us now.

I seriously don't know why Poch is allergic to a bit of structure in the team when it's required. In recent years we've seen it's great when the fluid shape with lots of free roles for players works, but that was then. Recently the narrow diamond has been increasingly found out, it's a problem sometimes when you're under the cosh, and tonight it wasn't working - with or without the ball - and we eventually got punished.

We're chasing a game, why not try eg. Son on one flank and Moura on the other, maybe even with two strikers in the box to feed as well? Very daring, I know. It would at least allow coverage across the pitch, so that with the ball there is an outball constantly, and without it you have an organised shape that helps the fullbacks. Fucking try something rather than sticking to the same script.

Also, lets be honest here, it's been like playing with 10 men with Kane the last two games. A handful, maybe two, of 'big plays' in the game doesn't impress me, because 99.9% of the rest of the game we've been carrying a passenger. Not pressing, not acting as a focal point, not running channels, others trying to do his work and abandoning their own. Cant get away with that. Someone at the club should have made the call he wasn't ready, but no one had the bollocks it seems. Fuck off can Poch be happy with his efforts this week. Maybe this weekend instead we'll see a difference...... Fucking hope so.

Right I've calmed down now so here you a with my measured and thought out opinion...

The midfield is being exposed as has no alternatives. No Dier(but he's shit) no dembele (Bad decision) no new players (secret transfer embargo??) Need new centre back for Alderweireld (obviously off) New LB for Davies (shit) new RBs for Aurier (awful) Trippier (Fucking awful). AMC for Eriksen (increasingly looking like he's in Spain already...whilst hes playing in the middle of our matches). New LAM for lamela. NEW RAM for moura. Both overated by any who actually do rate them.
New striker for Llorente (obviously, and if he has a sister who plays a bitbring her along too for extra back up)
New DMs as the others that we have left are lightweight/tired/overvalued/overplayed , they need help, they're not the Avengers (who actually do need help from the last film). A New GK who can kick and keep his whoring FUCKING legs fucking closed(!?) And potential GK MUST be able kick a ball in the direction it's meant for as a bare minimum (Nick Pope @ Burnley would be good). And finally, New chairman and new owners to fucking open their wallet for players rather than for buying Cranes, sheet metal, Concrete, incorrect wiring, and on top all that, bringing in £50 an hour sparkies by the bus load.

Rant over.
