This place is toxic almost every match unless we score early and win by at least two haha. And there's no away fans at the gameJust please don't be toxic and get behind the team.
£8 (including £3 to the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and £1 to Mind) to watch on Spurs TV: Watch The Mind Series live on Spurs TV | Tottenham HotspurIs it televised / streamable?
The mission in question:I fucking hate Chelsea. We are going to get our asses handed to us but I don't care as long s we have a plan and a mission.
God - I can't imagine anything worse than watching this with the Chelsea support, especially when they parade the Champions League trophy - you're made of sturdier stuff than I am!I am going - my Chelsea next door neighbour has a spare ticket.
Ridiculous to be playing Arsenal and Chelsea in preseason. Should never play against your rivals like it doesn't matter, but should never play a preseason game like it does.
Pride. In theory why does it matter?

I expect something like:
—————Gollini
Doherty—Dier—Rodon—Sessegnon
-—Ndombele—Skipp—Dele
—Lucas——Son——Bergwijn
I think the team that starts Sunday then v Arsenal will feature Lloris, Reguilon, Hojbjerg & possibly Lo Celso too and could be a good predictor of our opening day lineup v City.
Pre-season games should be about two things: fitness and working on new ideas. The result should be completely inconsequential. Let's say we're 1-0 up to Chelsea tonight and the away fans are singing it up - does Nuno bring on 6 youth players like he did againt Orient or is he more likely to stick because a win against Chelsea (in any form) would get the fans on side?
I watched the Arsenal-Chelsea game and there were tackles flying in everywhere, Partey got an injury so is set to miss the start of the season, and the goals were genuinely celebrated more than usual at pre-season games. Everyone knows it's just a friendly but at the same time, bragging rights matter to fans, and the manager/players will know this.
Also if we lose both, which is entirely plausible given we're the ones with a new manager and a bunch of key players still not available, then it's not exactly a confidence boost going into the season is it? Losing to your two biggest rivals isn't great psychological preparation no matter how you put it.
If we wanted to give to charity there were better ways of doing it, and if we wanted to end pre-season with some more challenging games then we should have played non-rivals. IMO.
