I think he's a good reliable goal scorer to keep in the squad, but hey ho - dems da breaks

I'd like to have kept him too, but he was probably told he wouldn't get much game time and with the WC coming up he thought it best to move on. Don't blame him I guess, but he still could start for a lot of European teams...

all this crap about selling him being a mistake......REALLY? not sure why so many attach themselves so much to average players. just like Caulker, I'd have have been meh if he stayed, but I have absolutely NO problem with him going. yeah he scored 12 goals blah blah blah, but he was a liability with the majority of our buildup play, either slowing it down, or taking ridiculously ill-advised shots at the wrong time that just go nowhere. he's very frustrating to watch.

good luck to him if he's going, but I can't say I or the team will miss him.

obviously he has his limitations compared to other free flowing footballers we have, it was always a bit staccato with Dempsey. That said always worked hard, decent utility player ok to sit on the bench without making waves and nicked some important goals over a season - imo every squad needs one of these and a bit of a shame to see him go tbh

His style of play doesn't suit us, but nonetheless a good player to bring on for the last 10 minutes if you need a goal. Would rather we kept him. If we're getting decent money then fair dos.

Scored some very important goals for us last season. More so than Ade. Limited footballer but pops up in all the right places. Would be good to retain in the squad for me. Experience, good attitude. And goals.
Holtby, Sigurdsson will have to step up more now.
