Did anyone do this last year or the year before? Any idea how long it will take, more thinking about what time it gets back to Tottenham- was thinking it's probably three hours door to door but be grateful if anyone has done it.

I wanted to get the train there, but it's £54! The train is rapid.

But the adv of Spurs coach is that it obviously drops you and takes you back from the ground. I just kinda want to get back to Tottingham by ten/eleven at the latest.

I just looked into this from where I am. I have to go via Manchester so it takes something like 4 hours, which I'm not really prepared to do.

Train is £38, not sure if I'm prepared to pay that either, on top of £35 for a ticket.

Yea, I am half hoping I don't get a ticket now just works out so expensive.

The train is the way forward, booking in advance if you can.

I've got my return to The Hawthorns for £18. :) It's pretty quick journey time too, for the distance covered and the changes that you need to make.

Got the trail to Stoke last year and was pretty quick. Think it was about £40 from Euston. Much quicker than the coach

Stoke in the car (sticking to the speed limit obviously ) takes about 2 and a half hours so I would imagine you would be looking at about 3 to 3 and a half on the coach.

Thanks Ruislip.

I realise the train is quicker than the bus, it's a cost thing.

If your looking for a cheap way to do it on the train then Watford Junction to Stoke-on-Trent is is direct and only costs about a tenner, much cheaper than going into Central London.

My ex lived there so I believe that makes me ITK.

Cool that might work thanks. There were a couple of cheapish trains but the one back left at 4. I may go to Brum for the night anyway.

Get a better Job, one where you can afford a coach trip, match ticket and a few pints.

Meh, I really want to go, but the idea of paying £75 to go to Stoke for the afternoon is leaving a bad taste.

that is a lot. it'll be low forty odd for me all in. and stoke away was fucking brilliant last year. the whole day, from pub of yids, police escort bus, the match, away win - at the kind of grim, glamourless place we never won back in the day
