I don't want anyone to win the league but us. Can't be arsed to even think about who 'I'd rather' win it because I have a genuine dislike for all of them for one reason or another. Sorry, not controversial at all.
The only rational choice for me is City, since we're not historical rivals and we all know that it doesn't mean anything, as they really should win it every season with their state sponsored wealth. Them winning it, also means that none of our rivals win it.

Oh, and all their titles doesn't begrudge even a gram of respect from me, since it's all the result of financial doping only. Liverpools title was much harder to stomach.

He's only just arrived, but I'm hoping Dragusin eventually earns first team selection ahead of Romero. Obviously Cuti is an amazing, world cup winning defender, but I'm never 100% comfortable that he isn't going to batter someone and get sent off.

If it comes down to it, I’d rather Arsenal win the PL than Liverpool. Sick of Klopp and sick of their fans.
When Liverpool were winning endless titles in the 70s and 80s, the media had a constant love in with them, greatest team of all time, privilege to watch them, blah blah blah. So that night that I think Rocastle and Thomas scored for the Gooners to win 2-0 at Anfield and stop them doing it again, I was not cheering on Pool.....

As with the second coming of Mido I feel in my bones we have a made a terrible mistake with Werner. Chelsea didn't want him his German club are happy to loan him. So why are we so excited to sign him ? Good job it is just a loan.

City wins are great, for these reasons. They mean nothing and they depress our rivals. For example last year was Arsenal's Leicester year when everything went right. The state sponsored team snuffed it out.

I understand how you feel but I think are excited because based on the summer window Ange seems to have a good eye for a player that would be good in his system and so that’s why people are optimistic. Plus like you said because it’s a loan if it doesn’t work out he goes back to Leipzig.

If it wasn’t for Ange then I think your opinion wouldn’t be as unpopular as you think and would be what the majority of people think.

I mean, a terrible mistake would be signing him for 50m on a 6 year deal. We really have nothing to lose, if he doesn't cut the mustard then he goes back.

I think the majority of spurs fans are apprehensive because he's been out of form for 3 years. I wouldn't say your opinion is controversial just a little strong for something that's basically a no-lose situation.

This is controversial. Well, not the spurs winning the league bit but saying you dislike all of our rivals to the point where you don’t care who wins it. You should be sectioned like @Nebby. Its not a hard question, if you’re spurs Arsenal cannot, under any circumstances, win the league especially with the biggest **** for a manager they’ve ever had. That is the most uncontroversial statement ever and if you’re not on board then you should, at the very least, be removed from society.

Does it count as controversial to say that as of the last couple of years, I'd definitely rather Arsenal win than Chelsea? There are numerous areas I can respect about what/how they do but I find I can't respect *anything* about Chelsea
(But any other club before those two)

Nah, that’s a lot less controversial. It’s still a bit of a spicy take but there’s probably quite a few spurs fans that agree with you on that.

Personally speaking I’d still rather Chelsea win it than Arsenal but I can’t begrudge anyone’s hatred of Chelsea even if it trumps their hate of Arsenal.

Yea not sure it’s even that controversial as I think deep down most Spurs fans respect Arsenal and most Arsenal fans respect Spurs but probably both have little to no respect for Chelsea.

Ofc I dont want either to win ever but for quite a while Chelsea were enemy n.o1 to me and I absolutely despised them and when they won the CL to knock us out of 4th it was horrendous, whereas when Arsenal pipped us to 4th after lasangegate it hurt but no where near as bad as when Chelsea did it. But then over time when Chelsea kept winning I realised it was so fake and plastic and soulless that it didn’t hurt at all and then I switched back to before anything else wanting Arsenal to not win.

For me it’s like asking would you like to lose an arm or a leg.

Arsenal have spent a ton the last few years, so it’s not like they’re doing it the “right” way or they’re being purist about it.

What is it you like about what they’re doing?

Would definitely rather lose an arm. As long as it wasn’t my wanking arm.

How is a loan a terrible mistake? Who else are we going to bring in at this time?

My strangest and most disturbing is one of my earliest and was this game. I loved football from a toddler but was too young to appreciate my family bloodline meant I was Spurs. I watched this game as a naive 7 year old and remember going to bed buzzing the underdog had won. I imagine my late father must’ve been seething inside at the scum winning the league like that but he didn’t let on! The guilt and disgust at myself I feel when I remember this is overwhelming!

I soon learned and 3 short years later I was again at my father’s side walking out of Wembley taunting scum fans after gazzas free kick in 91!

He's only just arrived, but I'm hoping Dragusin eventually earns first team selection ahead of Romero. Obviously Cuti is an amazing, world cup winning defender, but I'm never 100% comfortable that he isn't going to batter someone and get sent off.

I think Cuti, Lo Celso and Bissouma are already in last chance saloon.

I think Lo Celso is either hiding the need for or refusing to have surgery for an ongoing injury he has.

Bissouma and Cuti just can't stop themselves from making stupid and needless challenges.

There's the potential to bring some big money in the summer - I think Ange takes it.

Don’t think we sell Lo Celso this month but unless he signs a new deal before the end of the season I expect us to try and sell him in the summer. He’ll only have 12 months left though so we won’t get much though.
