Not convinced about that. They have Wes Brown, Gary Neville and Rafael. Even Hargreaves can play RB. Why Hutton?

Well, I guess because Neville is getting old and will probably retire in 1-3 years. Plus, he's a girl and The FA will eventually find that out. Brown is a natural CB, right? Played pretty well though in that position.

And I guess he meant Hutton will be a United maybe next summer or in a couple of years.

Personally I don't see it happen though. I mean, if Corluka is keeping him out of the team (Yes, I know Hutton is currently injured) wouldn't Man Utd rather come for Charlie than Hutton.

Ive been saying to my mates for weeks that Corluka has been brilliant so far. As mentioned before, his composure is incredible. Although I too think that could cost him, and the team, dear one day.

I didn't think he was going to be back-up. I saw him as a very good player who could cover multiple positions. With Ledley the way he is, it was essential we had someone who could play there when need be, not to mention Hutton!

I think it is quite likely he will now be our main man at right back and cover for King when necessary. Dawson has been playing better of late, so he will of course will also be in the mix (to cover Ledley).

I can see Hutton having a real fight on his hands to get back into the team when he is fit.

Wasn't Ireland on his way to sign for Sunderland and Hughes quite rightly went mental and called him back as he hadn't sanctioned the deal?

I'm sure it was supposed to be Stephen Ireland. He was in a very similar position to Corluka, regarding his move to Sunderland. Fortunately for City, the Ireland transfer didn't happen, as he has been their best player by a country mile this term. Fortunately for us also, we have found a mighty good player.

Cheers guys!

I'd completely forgotten about that one although I think Sunderland got his hair piece!

I demand to see his birth certificate, no way is he 22. He is the Roger Milla of defenders.

And... Hutton to United!! Ha fucking ha, pull the other one. What would he do? Peel the oranges? Gary Neville has lost his legs and is still vastly superior to our crocked Scot. Plus Rafael is looking absolute mustard.

Corluka>Gunter>Zokora>Hutton.

Corluka's a very good player. Strong, good in the air, recovers well, and has real quality on the ball.

For me, this guy's a centre half, and if he plays there enough, he'll be a brilliant one. I'm certain of that.
