Mowbray is a top bloke as well, absolutely committed to playing good football.

Might be a top bloke but have you heard him speak. Talks with the motivation of a sloth. Surely the dressing room would be asleep listening to more than 5mins of his drivel

Who are you going to be playing CL football with sooner, Rangers or Brentford?

Rangers were expected to walk the league this season, in the end they finished over 20 points off the top. It's no forgone conclusion they'll get promoted next season, and given what's been going on at Rangers no manager is assured of two, three, four seasons in charge.

I'd sooner see a manager who has a known appreciation for our youth system to be in charge of a club where our loans would be playing against the likes of Middlesbrough, Derby, Wolves etc (as well as possibly PL teams in the cups) than Greenock Morton and Alloa Athletic. Sure, Rangers have a big stadium, but so do Leeds, Derby, Forest, Wolves.
