I got banned because I said I thought the Josif's might be capable of setting fire to their own gaff, not that I thought they had. It was an outright ban for someone who had managed to never get suspended or banned up to that point, so I decided SC deserved my full-time Spurs forum time.

I always found it funny how they banned so many posters for 'playing the man' and yet you were freely allowed to give the players and management any sort of abuse you could come up with. I think if you actually supported Levy that was grounds for auto-ban if you ever admitted it.

Another ban over here. I said something innocuous that they got upset about, suspended me, emailed me, PMd me, told me to apologise or I would be banned. I said I couldn't even go back to edit the post, so if that's how they are going to be then they might as well ban me.

It was like being summoned to the headmaster and kicked out of school for not noticing my shoe laces were untied.

I was there for a while. Very sterile. You have to keep telling Prof how fecking great he is to keep your post count up.

Endless posts of "wise words Prof"

Oh :( I didn't even get past the registration phase. My question was something about my favourite THFC memory, to which i replied Christian Gross brandishing his tube card. I got an email within minutes, which was more of an essay telling me why my membership had been declined with suggestive answers that would have been acceptable.

Don't get the issues with COYS myself. When you signed up you knew full well it had a strict code of conduct, that should you break it would see you removed from the site(I can certainly have no complaints). I personally really enjoyed my time there. That site really does have some excellent posters, and the CCC clearly works very well for a very large number of people there. I think of COYS more like discussing Spurs in a classroom. Where as here is more out in the playground with your mates, and you can say things you wouldn't indoors. I'm far more suited to having a drink in the bar as opposed to the lounge of a pub, which is why I'm now here and not there.

For Spurs forums Glory Glory is awful too. The site owner hates Redknapp, made a load of like minded sycophant posters into mods and the place never recovered from the resulting infighting and subsequent banning. It's turned a once thriving forum into a dull mess full of people with the same opinion. It's like the Spurs version of the Stepford Wives.

If there are bigger wanker mods out there, on any Spurs forum, than Glory Glory's Jordinho or Steff I'd be amazed. They are such big tits that I heard Katie Price was going to see if she could stick them to her chest......
Jordinho was the reason I decided to get myself banned from there, he was pretty much taking over the board and ruining it so I slated him in every thread until I got a ban. I got on very well with Steff until I left two, maybe three years ago, it seems a shame you had a different experience with him. Crawley was an excellent mod but he appears to have moved on.

I'm banned from COYS but the miserable bunch took it out on my then 11 year old son and banned him too. They're incredibly precious and self important over there.

I got banned for being sarcastic, true story.
Apparently that falls under 'Playing the man, not the ball'

Whilst I agree about their COC Trix, they are far too heavy handed over largely trivial posts. Yes there were a number of core posters whom made the site very enjoyable, however prior to my ban (after 7 years) 90% of the members I had found informative/entertaining had either been banned or decided to seek other forums to express all things THFC. Whilst I understand there needs to be some site management, the way some over zealous moderators choose to interpret things makes for a Despotic site that I no longer wanted to be a part of. Hence my refusal to apologise or back down on my Chicken little comment.

I've never been onto more than the registration page on COYS. Feel I've missed out on something. Want to be banned for no apparent reason.

Following other comments I think I will stay with SC.

Edit: Don't ban me from here for no apparent reason though

Probably wrote 'Dembele' instead of 'Dembélé'.

I actually got banned for a post on this forum. SS57 mentioned how he had the privilege of being the only person to be banned for a post he made on a different forum and I made a small joke about it. Within minutes I received an email telling me I had been banned.

Prior to that I received a warning about potentially offending Italian Spurs fans. We were playing a European game in Italy and I said to a fan travelling to the game something like "enjoy the pizza".

I got banned for posting on another site.
I agreed with 'Dear Mr Levy' on his site about the general fatuousnesss of ITK
and the self importance of many ITKers.
Mind you I've been banned on here from the transfer and ITK forums
for casting doubt on the motives and point of ITK and ITKers.
I'm told that some of them put their jobs and livelihood on the line to bring us
These gobbits of news 24hrs before its on the official site or forgotten.
Enjoyed their non football section and some good posters,
while they lasted.
You can say what you like (almost) on COYS as long as
you finish with 'Thanks for posting'
As in 'You pompous self regarding waste of space scumbag, but thanks for posting.
Best not to try it though.
