How the fcuk can he say Suarez "should never have been banned in the first place"? For such a racist comment, deliberately intended to provoke a reaction from Evra, presumably to get him booked or red carded?

The sooner he goes back to Uruguay the better!

Anyone else feel the 'Kick Racism Out Of Football' adverts were unusually prominent tonight? Then he goes and says that....

How can he accuse the guy of asking about Carroll first after he's previously asked him a question about Reina?

I think our beloved Keith Burkinshaw said it best

There used to be a club there.

For us it helped steer us from going down a dark road and we're better for it today

For them, they have long fluttered on the edge of epic loathsomeness, one of the last clubs to break the colour barrier, Heysel, using the Hillsborough tragedy as a shield them from scrutiny, death threats to bankers and pundits, being labelled the worst fans by UEFA. Now they are nose-diving into the abyss. Henry thinks he might market a truly foul club and set of supporters to the rest of the world. It will end up breaking him. Good!

lets face it, if the bloke couldn't kick a ball he'd be in the town centre with a can just randomly shouting at strangers crossing the road to avoid him.

In a recent Lawro interview, he said Kenny would be the first to leave the pub but nowadays he's always the last. Clouded judgement?

Don't really see too much wrong in that interview apart from disagreeing with him about whether Suerez deserved a ban. His side had just unexpectedly outpointed one of the top three so of course he will say they did well. Liverpool dominated territory because we were set up to play 20 yards too deep....there can be few arguments there. It was the interviewer trying to be smart fishing for a reaction.....Dalglish was honest enough to say he failed to see the incidents in question. Now seen both interviews. What are we coming to when we can't listen to comments like that? Suerez aside.....little controversy there....

agree, I still like Kenny - Celtic hero

I agree that Suarez should not have been banned for so many games either, especially when compared to what John Terry allegedly said and the max he can get if found quilty is a £ 2 500 fine.

That's in a criminal court. If he is found guilty in the eyes of the law then and only then can the FA take any action and I suspect he will get at least 8 games if not longer.

the alleged offence was last October, the court case is in the summer.

what is the point in banning him next season for an offence this season, how does that punish him ? the whole thing stinks

You do understand that because there is a criminal case currently ongoing that the The FA aren't allowed to do anything in case it prejudices the case?

Dalglish is just trying to hide the fact that he's doing a terrible terrible job. He's spent a huge amount of money on quite alot of dross (Carroll, Henderson, Downing, Coates etc etc) and his only good signing is constantly suspended because he's a dick (something we all knew beforehand). Meanwhile only four teams have scored fewer goals than Liverpool at home, they are 11 points off a team who only spent 6m in the Summer and they currently sit in 7th position.

When those are the facts it's hardly surprising he's being so hostile and defensive. Fortunately because he's 'King Kenny' and he's bringing the glory days of victim mentality back to Anfield, they won't be able to sack him so he'll stay for longer than he should and hopefully take them properly into the dark ages.

There was more intent to offend, he repeatedly racially abused Evra, whereas with Terry I feel that it was an insult that slipped out and then he panicked, tried to cover it up and made things worse.

As for Dalglish he should definitely be charged with bringing the game into disrepute, Liverpool had their chance to appeal and they didn't take it up. What Suarez did was wrong, yet Dalglish and Liverpool continue to condone his actions and paint him as the victim and Evra as the guilty one.

"Kenny, do you think a point is a fair result?"

"Uh... It's not really important what we think, I think the most important thing for us was we were really pleased with how the team played...."

Dalglish obviously forgetting what the aim in a league competition is.
