Can't see it. That's a lot of money, and we've baulked at paying less for others this summer.
It's a lot of money for a defender who'll want more minutes on the park than Wimmer currently gets, and Wimmer wants out due to that lack of gametime.
Seems an odd link to me.

people gave me poor ratings before but Sanchez will be the long term replacement for Toby, in my opinion. Clearly, an extension hasn't come easily between us and Toby + Sanchez is someone we could control for 4/5 seasons on reasonable wages before selling for a massive profit to the likes of Barcelona. Sanchez arriving doesnt mean Wimmer would need to leave at all.

35 million seems a bit steep but it's the Sun, they've likely found out about the link but have no idea on the financials, probably just guessed.
