I was at Club MAYA last night. I bumped into Defoe. Offered to buy him a drink but he declined. Asked him about new signings. He said hes not sure but expect 2-3 players. Also hinted at PAV leaving.

I then asked about Ashley Young and the boys from Real Madrid.
Again answered by saying "not sure, but he would be good down at tottenham" (big smile on face)

He hasnt heared anything about the boys from Real Madrid but also reckons Crouch is a realistic signing but hes reluctant to sign as he wont get regular football.

it's a gesture of goodwill - i don't think he was under the impression defoe was strapped for cash.

"Jermain would you like a dr.... actually you earn more than me. I'll have a pint!"

Is that how it would go Ben? :)

Or he turned it down cos he doesn't drink.

And for shame on you for trying to get our players on alcohol. If only Harry was reading this

It's not the point if he can afford it or not, it's a nice gesture, which I'm sure he appreciated

hardly worth posting really, we all know this.

nothing to see here, move along!!
Did you sign up specifically to say that?

And what about that Harry Potter kid - what a load of guff that is. If the soppy little sod was real he'd probably have magicked his cock off by now.

*brushes his hands off of this thread, puts in the oven on gas mark 8 for a while...*

I'd buy JD a drink as he's scored important goals for spurs.

No other reason, he's a spurs boy.

And no, i dont want to bum him.
