Not my call, but can't see what the problem is if it is just for personal use. It's not like what is written on here isn't in the public domain. If the intention is not to divert traffic from SC to other sites than it's harmless.

Given that SC makes a lot it's income through the traffic and donations made related to ITK, it would probably be a dick move for me to keep the site up anyways, so I'll take it down tommorow

I don't think you'd need to tale the whole website down. I mean you've got some juicy stuff on Socrates and Plato on there (I think).

Not really seeing the issue. We take the posts of people from other forums along with their usernames and copy and paste onto this forum all the time. ITK comes from here there and everywhere to this place, this place also has its own ITK that travels out to here there and everywhere. Its how it goes.

Unless the other site has some kind of clandestine purpose to hurt posters of this site ( which it clearly doesn't ), then yeah, whats the issue ?

As @wpd659 pointed out, many people might consider it kind of shady to steal peoples comments from a forum

And as I previously mentioned, I think it would be pretty shitty of me to display the information SC use to cover its bills, without them getting any credit for it.

With that said; if this is a feature people find useful, I can probably hand the code to over to the admins if they want to implement it

Haha, I got like 300 new users after you posted my site on SC, but I'll expect them coming back for more Sokrates, regardless of what happens to the ITK!
Nah, I've just put the transfer section behind a login, and I'm guessing that will do

I primarily use the site for storing notes that might be helpful for people I work and/or study with. The server itself is used for other projects i'm working on.

I'm actually thinking about making an ITK-app for Android/iPhone for the transfer windows this summer, given that it would be ok by SC and the other forums I want to collect data from.

Anyways, as I said, the transfer section has now been put behind a login. Sorry about the fuzz!
