How did Dortmund sign Haaland for only 20m Euros?!

How come he didn't go elsewhere? Surely Barca, Real Madrid or United would be all over this. Maybe even Man City or Liverpool.
Dortmund always do this don't they? Get in for quality deals early. Why can't we do the same? We surely have a similar pulling power to Dortmund? But nah. We don't bother.

Playing time was a consideration I imagine. He won't get much game time here being a Kane understudy.
We are seeing the consequences of not having someone to complement Kane though. Rinsing him is absolutely killing the lad. Also the myth of lack of game time has to go away. Lucas Moura gets plenty of game time and he's often employed up front, so there's plenty of game time to go around. We need to move past this nonsense reasoning for not bringing in another quality striker cos it's costing us and will continue to cost us becoming a next level club and it will cost Kane his career too because rinsing him is destroying him.
I think he made it clear the only club he would consider in the Prem was MU. MU opted out though when they realised how much they had to pay the Agent. Dortmund have a record of taking young players like him, developing them & then selling them on.

What a surprising take on things - i thought it seemed pretty obvious that it is not the club but Kane himself, with his drive and desire to chase every milestone available, who is the one that wants to play every single minute of every single game, be it with Spurs or England. In fact i've always felt that due to his status at Spurs (i.e best player who's quite clearly able to play for any team in the World - almost doing us a favour by staying loyal) that Poch felt he just couldn't rest him, even if he desperately wanted to. Great attitude for a player to have but (imo) its always felt like he's calling the shots somewhat and is basically undroppable - although i'd counter that somewhat by saying that if every player had Kane's drive then we would obviously be in a lot better shape. A bit of balance needs to be reached, especially with his 90 mins performances for England in fairly meaningless games, when other players are subbed off after an hour or rested completely.
