Drăgușin joins from Genoa

We are delighted to announce the signing of Radu Drăgușin from Serie A side Genoa, subject to international clearance and a work permit.

The Romania international has signed a contract with the Club which will run until 2030 and he will wear the number six shirt.

Wonder if clearance and work permit will be rubber stamped before midday tomorrow? If not he won’t be in Sunday’s squad.

We’ve replaced Lenglet. Sanchez and Dier with Van der Ven, Dragusin and Phillips and I feel much better because of it.

Might be setting our expectations a bit too high, hoping for him to come straight in and hit the ground running. VDV has spoiled us with how quickly he's attuned to the Prem, so I hope we give him a chance. Looks the business though, and I'm very encouraged by our signings this window.

Romero and VDV just about back means he may have time to settle. Also after Sunday we have about 2 weeks until our next game v City in the Cup, so plenty of time to get up to speed on the training pitch.
