This one's been doing the rounds on Twitter all day and now the press have caught on to it too - admittedly it's only The Mirror.

I really can't see this myself, however since Edin lives in the same building as me I'm doing some research regardless! We have a couple of mutual acquaintances who have said they'll ask the question for me - will let you know what I find out.

Given that he was necking some girl in the lift this morning he didn't look to be in a rush to get down to the Lane...

Because JJ knows everything about spurs and our dealings right? Not ITK bashing but atleast give the other ITKers some credit when they post info or we'll be sitting around waiting for ITK from JJ only and that's not what this is about.

Anyway on topic I'd be happy to sign Dzeko I was upset when he signed for Man City as I had the sneaky suspicion he'd be left behind all the other "star strikers" in the pecking order. He is a brilliant striker and I'd love him at spurs he'd be back to his 10-20 goals a season with us and would be a killer deal along with Ade. But I am too doubtful this deal will happen unless city are desperate to get rid of him which I doubt they are.

The flaw is the Mirror story:

City traders? Spurs look at Dzeko instead as Adebayor saga drags on.

Well according to most ITK the Ade deal is done.

And of course the other bit of fuzzy logic in that story is that it claims that our deal for Adebayor stalled over his wages. Well, what do they think Dzeko is on at Citeh then? If it's not at least as much as Adebayor I would be surprised.
