Ultimately it's what's on the pitch that counts & if ENIC aren't prepared to put the money in to revitalise the squad they should handover to someone who is prepared to do this because what's the pitch at the moment is very, very average and shows how poor the squad is.

Mixing your childish digs kind of dilutes them. At least pick one and stick to it.
The first was an open invitation, the second was an observation.

As far as childish, you started it with the hyperbole. Climb down off the high horse mate.

I for one hope we lose to Leipzig as if we were to continue in the champions league our faint hopes of 4th place will disappear completely

In our current state we ain't getting 4th. With the games coming up, we'll probably be in mid table by the time Kane and Son are back.

But what players could we then attract?

Other teams manage to attract decent players outside of CL. Money helps. Additionally you need good scouting and a clear strategy / vision, which I'm not sure we're capable of.

The first thing is to give the current manager the players to suit how he wants to play.

Oh great! An astronomically expensive pile of shit!! The money should've been given to Poch in the first place to complete his work!!!

Players are only attracted by money. They will come once we show the dosh.
This is the challenge. We have upped our wage bill and are attracting players of a higher reputation than we could previously.

But if you have players on higher wages and they are duds then it becomes harder to sell them.

To be fair we have followed Arsenal's MO to an extent - this is the same shit they came out with last summer except the figure was £40m.

They ended up spending €154m.

Yup. Modern football. Is what it is. No other way.
