yea suppose so but kind of expected really that chairman attends matches especially first one back after such a big break.

How can you tell what we have available to spend for the 2020-21 season ?
Have you seen the 2019/20 accounts ? ,no because the financial year is not finished yet, have you seen the 2020/21 forecast, no you haven't

I bet (in fact am certain) all you have done is taken the profit from the last 3 years published accounts (2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons) added back a little FFP adjustment (probably taken Swiss Ramble and totally misinterpreted it) and said that is what we have to spend, without understanding that all that shows is we met FFP in 2018-19, with a pre-tax surplus of some £400m for FFP purposes over those years.

If you don't know the 2019-20 numbers (which obviously have depreciation and wages from the acquisitions of Tanguy, LoCelso. Sessegnon and a significant Coronavirus effect and reduced Champions League income) and the 20-21 forecast you cannot know how much we have to spend, and even then it is not simply taking the profit of the prior years in question and saying that is what we have to spend, as players costs get capitalized

FFP is calculated over a rolling 3 year basis (the current plus 2 prior)
To know what money we can spend in 2020-21 season, you need to know what the 2020-21 numbers are estimated to be, 2019-20 numbers will end up at and the 2018-19 final P&L, only the last of which we know.

You can't do what coys200 has done and taken in effect the numbers from 2 to 4 seasons prior, and compound the error by mixing up profit with asset purchases
