Why did he delete the club off his socials the day after he wasn't named captian? Do you have any logical reason why he would do that?
Maybe he doesn't actually run the page himself?
Maybe it was done by mistake while housekeeping was being done on his page?
There could have been any number of reasons apart from the one you've convinced yourself is true.

The point being, we don't know.
I'm certainly not going to slag off one of our players for something unimportant and that we don't know the reason for.

Technically he did it before he wasn't named captain.

You don't know why. Maybe he decided to log on to twitter and read loads of people tagging him telling him he is shit and to leave and he lashed out. Maybe he was told to leave, maybe he didn't like not being named captain. That's the point, we don't know.
The players all found out yesterday. Everybody else found out today. This is BS. Sorry.

You're working awfully hard to defend an absolute clown. You and McFlash. It's almost as if you're being paid to do so.

Dier supposedly carries a lot of influence in that dressing room. His voice carries weight. A new manager makes a decision that he doesn't like. He acts like a fucking child and deletes the club off his socials. You think the other players are blind and can't see that?

That's the kind of thing that can divide dressing rooms. That's undermining your manager who just made a key decision. Those aren't the actions of a leader. Those are the kind of actions that have held back this club that both Mourinho and Conte spoke about.
You have proof of this? Please share it.

People have been giving him shit for months. Not buying that. Just a single logical reason from the shill crew is all I'm asking.
You’ve been given lots of reasons which are just as logical as your preferred scenario that he had a tantrum at not being named captain. You’re just dismissing them because they don’t suit your vitriol.

You might be right, you might be wrong. None of us know. But your refusal to accept the possibility that you’re wrong when there is zero evidence to back up your claim is, frankly, unhealthy and can only benefit from some time away from the keyboard.

I’m gonna offer you the same advice an old boss used to give me when I was catastrophising: Have a chocolate bar and a wank and… ok I forget how the advice ended and he may have said “Red Bull” where I’ve added “wank” but it genuinely does make you feel better.

Jeez. I reckon was told he isn't in the squad or was told he isn't starting tomorrow
It's probably either that he stupidly thought he'd be made vice captain, or we're about to sign another CB and he's been told Sanchez and Phillips are ahead of him in the pecking order and that he should go.

You've gotta respect it when someone makes a total tit of themselves, but instead of holding their hands up and admitting it - nope, double down on it instead!

Fair fucking play.

I read the same hours ago and it absolutely is fake news. That doesn't change the fact that he deleted Spurs off his socials for a reason.

What that reason is who knows? It's yet to be determined. But the people calling him out for it aren't the toxic ones. The ones defending that behavior are toxic. Dier is toxic.
Only Dier knows the reason so to think up a reason to push an agenda is laughable. For all we know he could have been hacked.

How on earth is Dier toxic? How are the people abusing him not the toxic ones?

Good grief.

This ‘story’ just sums up social media and the modern day football fan. There is zero evidence of what Dier did or didn’t do. What people are suggesting he did is totally out of character. It just now people shouting things that suits their agenda. It’s grim.

That's an excellent straw man. I said that behavior was toxic and it is. I also never defended all the abuse he's been getting on social media. I don't condone it either.

I defended the people asking why he did what he did. It's a valid question that I'm sorry triggers so many people.

An extremely straightforward captain appointment has created drama. This club

To add to everything else you’ve vomited onto this thread, it appears you don’t know what a straw man is 😀

Yes... it's looking better. But it's not done yet IMO... if Romero or VDV get injured we need similar players to cover/rotate... clean slate and competition for places.... we need constant high energy in the team. Especially with Ange's style.

It will take a bit of time. But as long as we get there and listen to Ange's team then I'm satisfied. Maybe he wants Dier to stay... who knows 🤷‍♂️
Not just hindsight, but i really wanted us to go for Botman when he was at Lille. Think he would have great here

Maybe the 'Shill Crew' aren't willing to make stuff up in the same way you are?

Noone knows why he removed the links to the club.
