actually no feel quite sorry for them (LOL!)

they have decent defenders and attackers just seem to be lacking a midfield, and should address that in the summer..

( come and get jenas! 25 big ones and he is yours!)

and as for downing..

My gaffer is a smoggies fan. He's taken it well, but has recommended putting cash on them going down. Their remaining fixtures are horrific. Derby excepted, they'll be lucky to get 3/4 points. Early days yet, but it might be a battle between them and the Bar-codes now Reading and Wigan are looking like pulling clear.

For starters we can have a laught at them for buying Alves. I said early on that he's never gonna make it

Bolton in the mix too.

Please let it be the Toon.

And Sunderland, they have some tough games as well.

If only Fulham could get their act together we could lose 2 teams from the NE.

What was that - £11m on top of the £6m they paid for Mido? They could have bought one decent striker for £17m.

Full marks to Southgate for taking responsibility for the result. Wenger/SAF/Grant - are you watching?

I can't see them going down. They seem to play much better in those big games. If you see their results this season they are very bizarre. I think Newcastle are in big trouble, they can't buy a win at the moment.

Oh but Jenas is wicked so no Boro can't have him!

Just a defensive midfielder and a left winger and we shall rule the world I tell ya RULE!!!!!!! Or maybe just do really really well in the prem!

I was thinking over the weekend, Downing lad, why the heck did you re-sign on????
