I'm sure they've still got 50-odd million to pay for Pepe as well. Speaking of Pepe, he was fucking *wank* tonight. I like him, I really do (it's not his fault those mugs paid twice what he's worth), but he was dreadful in that match.

He’ll start to give up soon I suspect once he’s sorted his next move out for the summer.

But we were lead to believe the Arteta renaissance was underway and that Arsenal were a force to be reckoned with

After going on a glorious 10 match unbeaten run Arsenal lose the 11th by exiting the Europa League but at least they have moved from 10th to 9th in the Premier League.

Spain I reckon.

I think Laca would have buried that chance.

Auba went for the Hollywood shot and blew it which made my night.

But if the ref goes to the monitor it implies that the VAR ref isn't convinced it was a red card, that's what I find weird.

You can make technical argument in the laws that it's only a yellow. In the laws there's no real difference between a defender making a diving save like this and a defender having their arm slightly too far away from their body. In the spirit of the laws there's a huge difference and this player deserved to be sent off. The VAR never should have sent it down for review. Everyone expected a red card.

Ceballos loan ends in the summer and they’re likely to lose PEA and/or Lacazette . This will weaken them.

Agree. PEA wants to go and they prob need him to go to get some money in, but how do they replace the goals, let alone improve elsewhere.

Quite funny how DT suggested better to be out of Europe not understanding that Europa money is keeping them afloat moneywise. As Swiss Ramble stated no CL again (4 years running) is catastrophic financially.

Hasn't Ozil still got a year left of his £350k a week salary and has said he's going nowhere this summer.

They have so many problems with players all over the pitch. Their back four can easily be got at. Against Everton, had they (like a lot of teams when playing them) been more clinical in front of goal, Everton would of won. They give up even more chances than we do. Get in behind their fullbacks with balls over the top, pressurise their centre backs and xhaka when on the ball and they will give teams chances. Guaranteed. Teams just ned to be brave against them and show them no respect.

I'm so glad they lost last night. I know I've been saying this since last summer but it is so important that they miss out on the champions league next year. Even more so now it looks like we might struggle.

Had BBC breakfast on for over an hour, the sports report just been on and nothing, not a mention of the arsenal's utter balls up. I'm taking it personally they did this just to annoy me but I'm not going to let them I'm going to catch the BT sport highlights ?.
I suppose we should have expected it as it happens every year, when the big teams drop out of the Champions League the little Europa League sides can never match them.

Agree.

Just before their capitulation last night I was thinking he had a bit of his Mojo back since that knitting needle incident in North London but he proved me wrong. He looked down and out at the end and not very happy but I reckon he will remain happy to be taking a King's ransom every week.

Olympiakos were playing without their three best players, which makes it even funnier.
They had also just played the most important and difficult much of the year in the Greek League, and everyone thought they would be running on empty in London.
Which makes it even more funny.
