I was just about to say that i'm surprised by how poor Wolfsburg are defensively...and then they rather prove my point by conceding a third. Why can no one defend anymore?!

Frustrating to see Fiorentina in the semi final given that, when we played them in the round of 32, we should probably have scored four goals and put the tie to bed in the first 45 minutes of the first leg.

No really daunting teams in the semis. If only....

I watched the first half of the fiorentina game and they could have been four up in the first ten minutes.
Played some great football, salah at the heart of it again.
I'd be amazed if he doesn't get game time with chelski next season.

Even more frustrating given that Italy now has 3 sides in semi finals of European competition meaning their coefficient is improving. A couple of years like that and England would lose their 4th spot. Watch spurs finish 4th every season after that!!

Really annoyed that we aren't in that Semi final. I know we have no God given right to be there but we should have beaten Fiorentina easily.

Our failiure in Europe needs to be addressed.

That was a ridiculous goal!

Yep, I have no love for Zenit but I was sad for AVB, especially as Zenit were really on top and were just sloppy.

Yeah, they certainly had their opportunities to win the game earlier on - although they did need an horrific error to get them back in the game.

Nobody left in the competition looks like a Champions League side though imo.

I was delighted when AVB went. I don't believe he will ever achieve much but he will get a good living. He will be riding in motor cars quite fast sooner rather than later.

Well he took his team further than ours in the European League and is winning their domestic League at a canter in his first full season in charge.
