Imagine telling people to be patient when your contract ends anyway in a few months, and you’ve shown zero interest in long term yourself.

if the Paratici verdict is due later this month, and we also have an international break this month, I wonder if both 'issues' we face will be dealt with in the break should the verdict be made then.

So for arguments sake, if he had signed a 3 year contract during the WC would you still be patient given the results we’ve seen since then?
its not about the results and hasn't been all season - its the football we play its negative joyless soulless whatever adjective you want but its nothing to do with style of football THFC should be playing - we play continually like a second division side coming up against their betters with no control of the game or any flair save the occasional flash of Kane - there is no passion in the side and that's reflected in the crowd who are bored - there is no pace or tempo to the football we are so easy to play against - and the worst thing about going to the game at the moment is that I don't care anymore and that is the fucking tragic

Patience no there shouldn't be let it end

He also had a lot of missed placed passes too. If you want to highlight specific actions.

And gave away far too many unnecessary fouls. Not just him that does it, screams of laziness and not wanting to put in the hard yards so easier to just bring them down and concede the free kick, killing time and momentum.

PEH had our first of only two attempts on target last night, he has 5 goals and 5 assists this season and you think he is not creative but Sarr is?

PEH is the poster child for stats are misleading, he is the main culprit for the sideways and backwards passing. It literally took him 5 mins to start waving his arms around and passing the ball backwards last night.

Im not saying he isn’t a useful player but he’s definitely not a creative force either. Sarr is much more progressive with his movements and passing at such a young age. PEH has also been starting pretty much every game this season and Sarr has barely had a look in yet we’ve looked better with Sarr in that position when he has.

So long story long, yes, I do think Sarr is more creative and progressive than PEH.

The argument that top 4 is still achievable and that we need to act now is the type of reactionary thinking that has led us to this position in the first place. We need some joined up thinking from those at the top on what we want to be as a club and not just look at the next best available manager like we did with Jose and Conte.

Fair enough, I just wanted to get OP’s thoughts as his post mostly pertained to Conte’s non-commitment vs fans being patient with him.

Mason had seven games, and he was only twenty-nine years old. What could people really expect from someone so experienced in such a short period of time?

Just because things haven't worked out under Mourinho or Conte doesn't mean no other manager could have done a better job. Things didn't work out under Nuno either, but very few were rushing to defend him and blame it on the players- and Conte has a much better squad to work with than Nuno.
What I mean to say is we would have been expected to win the games we won anyway, we didn't pull up any trees. We also got vastly out worked and out played by a couple of very average teams in those 7 games as well. It was no more consistent or better, but people still go on about the fact a new man will/did better.

So many of the same team still exist and are first choice at the club at the moment too.

Not gone yet, but my personal opinion is he's not going to be here for the weekend. Too much being said behind the scenes.
I hope you’re right mate, even if it’s Mason for a bit, it’s the start of a new chapter.

What’s your opinion on the direction Levy will go? Do you think he’s learned we’re simply not equipped as a club for the likes of Jose/Conte and go back to the project manager route?

I won’t link to it, but the usual suspects are getting through their ‘crisis tips’ from Spurs sources now.

Mail have run theirs this morning. And I’m sure Miguel Delaney’s usual expose is on its way.

Getting more than 1 xG over 180 minutes with 3 top drawer attackers in arguably the biggest 2 matches of your reign is not a miracle Antonio.

He's talking like this is everyone's fault but his.

Surely I don't have to repeat myself about the £50million of the £150million share issue just being burrowed away do I? We didn't do all we could have done, and never have.
That money was never all for transfers unfortunately. Levy has stuff to build remember
