Do you think West Ham will swap Moyes for Conte right now...
more facetiousnesswhat
I am a season ticket holder of 20 years almost .It costs several bombs . Booing, if it continues, will make me an ex season ticket holder.
This is something worth considering.Same here. Too many idiots in the new place. Falling out of love with it. You've got to have have a very low IQ to boo you're own team
Any reason why Stellini is doing the PC?
That is certainly.....AN interpretation of the data, that's for sure.I think it is harsh to base our MF abilities based on how well they do the job they are being asked to do. Is it their job to be creating chances or is that the job of our wingbacks and wide forwards?
There is also the fact that we are happy to cede possession in the first half and play on the counter. I know we have been doing so poorly but these charts don't consider that.
If they showed our map from the second half the last few weeks it would look very different.
Either way I don't think these charts really show or prove one teams quality over another, just how they are deciding to play.
Why wouldn't the length of his contract matter when he keeps stating he needs several more windows? What does that matter?
Indeed, contracts can be worked out and signed in an afternoon. Why wouldn't the length of his contract matter when he keeps stating he needs several more windows?

I think they can work on the parameters, but Conte will want to see the commitment in January. That is his leverage and I can’t see him wasting it.Hopefully a good opportunity to do that during the WC
Fair play.I am a season ticket holder of 20 years almost .It costs several bombs . Booing, if it continues, will make me an ex season ticket holder.
My wonder is if Conte is buying into this will he keep playing his cards close to his chest and just agree to a further 1 year extension to the end of 2023-24 season or will he perhaps sign a 2 year extension to 2024-25 season, I'd really love to see him sign the latter as a statement of intent but the way he works I think it will be the former unfortunately but that would be better than him leaving at least. Lets see how it pans out.Indeed, contracts can be worked out and signed in an afternoon.
Of course they can but to the average fan it's not the best look for him to ask for patience when he hasn't committed beyond this seasonIndeed, contracts can be worked out and signed in an afternoon.
Only ever booed the opposition or the officials - you can be angry, disappointed you can groan when someone messes up - but I don't see how booing helps the situation.Same here. Personally, I don't think that it has anything to do with his contract, I think that it's a mixture of impatience and frustration because people are looking over at Newcastle and Arsenal.Of course they can but to the average fan it's not the best look for him to ask for patience when he hasn't committed beyond this season
Renowned hot headed ultra demanding manager on an 18 month project hardly screams project..
And this post is purely me being devil's advocate as I think he is a genius who would get as much time as he needs if it were up to me but I'm looking for perspective around the impatience.
Some booed them off half time and then when we pulled 1 back some started singing Antonio ooooo ....why ?Fair play.
I think to some extent given the football product which has been served up the last 3 years I can understand the boo's.
That being said I'm also a ST holder of 20-25 years and this year is the first year I've decided to completely cut back and only go to about 5 games, partly for cost of living reasons but partly because I've found the general atmosphere quite toxic and no where near as enjoyable as it used to be, however I do think that will erode to an extent if :
1) Conte signs a new contract so there is a project to get behind
2) The quality of performance improves more towards how it was in the 2nd half vs Liverpool and at the end of last season as I'm one of Conte's biggest fans and I know injuries and lack of quality in certain positions are killing us but even I admit that we have been pretty hard to watch for the last 7-8 games, having such little possession and creating so few chances at a club like Tottenham with fans who put such a high priority on style of play will eventually result in boo's especially when results don't go well, we've been starved of success for many years and the last 3 years have been negative and dour as they come with Jose and Nuno and a pandemic so a lot of our fanbase don't have much patience left to keep spending their hard earned time and money to go and see 45 mins of football where the other team has 70% possession and we have 2 shots, it is boring and to an extent a waste of time. Now of course I know that we are half way through a project with Conte and ideally it would be better if the fans didn't boo and got more behind the team but I'm just saying I can sympathise with why some of the fans are booing at the moment, its not just the style of play right now its been a build-up of 3 years of frustration.
haha you got me
