Nuno Espirito Santo and Tottenham can start planning their Europa Conference League journey following last Friday's group phase draw. Coming through their play-off tie against Pacos de Ferreira with a 3-1 aggregate win, Spurs will now face Rennes, Vitesse and Slovenian side NS Mura in Group G of UEFA's newly-formed competition.

Eric Dier is not classed as Home Grown !! that's a bit rubbish

I believe the HG rule is based on academy football of that player so as he grew up in Portugal and played for the Sporting academy, this is why he fails to qualify as HG.

In addition due to the above, it rings a bell that he could have played for Portugal but opted for England

Fabio Paratici has finally solved Tottenham HG issue.... by ripping up player contracts!
"It was quite easy" he said " and quite satisfying. Levy was very supportive - 'F..ing do it mate' and brought the old amstrad fax/shredder in and handed me a pile more - strangely some of home grown players too...."

Seeing as how we haven’t signed a single homegrown player since he arrived I am not sure Patrici deserves too much credit. We basically just have a smaller squad.

Which he deserves credit for, the issue was trimming the squad down and finding homes for our deadwood
