What does banned from football mean? Can he not go to matches? Can he not sign players? Can he not sign club cheques? Can he not negotiate? Can he not speak to anyone involved with football? Can he not be seen with anyone in football? Can he not kick a ball?

Eh? This is significant news that’s damaging to the clubs public image. It’s terrible PR to have your director of football operations involved in something like this. It’s not just Tottenhams fans opinions who matter in all of this.

More likely that releasing the results right before the window lets clubs know how flush we are and they'll up their prices, and maybe after the window closes there will be some kind of ownership details that will be more relevant?
