It is unclear whether Gareth Bale, arguably Tottenham’s best player of the decade, will be allowed to attend. The Wales forward has a calf injury, meaning he may be unavailable for Real Madrid’s La Liga fixture against Sevilla - which takes place on the same day Tottenham face United.

Does anybody know whether there will be extended tv filming of the finale ceremony just after the match this Sunday?

THE LANE, THE FINALE: FAREWELL CEREMONY:

Fans are encouraged to remain in the stadium after the final whistle for a poignant Farewell Ceremony.

The event will feature former players, along with the current First Team and coaching staff and players from within the Club’s Academy - marking our past, present and exciting future.

Fans will be provided with a pack upon arrival into the stadium that includes a special edition t-shirt and flag, which we ask you to raise during the final Farewell to create a lasting vision of the Lane in all its glory.

Please note that there will be a brief intermission between the end of the match and the start of the Ceremony to allow us to make the preparations for the show. During this period, the catering kiosks on our concourses will remain open for refreshments. We would ask that you are back in your seats within 15 minutes of the final whistle.

For those unable to attend the match, Sky Sports will be extending their live coverage to air the Ceremony in its entirety for viewers in the UK and Ireland.

Anyone know if the club plans to webcast the celebrations. Pretty sure sky sports will only give it 5 mins max.
The programme finishes at 20:00 so pretty sure they'll be showing all of it.

Pat Nevin has just admitted when he was still playing for Chelsea he would come to WHL and stand on The Shelf to watch Spurs in Europe.

Did anyone ever play football on the indoor pitch inside the stadium? Defoe mentioned it earlier in the week and I remember playing there at one of the Spurs soccer schools many years ago and also sneaking into the stands when we weren't supposed to.
Didn't go onto the pitch though which I regret not doing.

Do love Pat Nevin. Favourite band The Fall. DJ'ed at indie clubs. Walked to his own beat despite the kind of bullying you can get in football dressing rooms for being different.

Yeah I played there on a Soccer School course. We got to go on the pitch too. A few years later had to run on the pitch when watching an Arsenal away game on the big screen, after some Gooners snuck in and fighting broke out. Was only 15 or so, ran like the wind! Lol.

I played on the indoor pitch during a stadium tour a long long time ago. Don't remember seeing a way to sneak onto the pitch from there though..

I had a flashback of my dad taking me to the old Spurs shop in the early 80's. It was a small wee place with wooden box shelving and not much of a selection.

Highlight (mainly for my Dad) was John Pratt walking in and chatting to him before chatting up the girl in the shop.

Ahhh man I remember playing on there during a soccer school. I think I still have the string bag they gave you. Didn't they also give you a stadium tour?
