Yeah, I'd do a loan swap with VJ. He gets games, we get to see if he can actually compete in this league, at the same time we get a different kind of back-up forward. The battering ram approach, balls in to the box late on, good finisher all round. I'd be well up for this deal to come off.

The bonus would be annoying Chelsea and their twat of a manager.

Llorente on a 1 to 2 year contract and a Premier League loan for Janssen would be absolutely ideal for us IMO.

Llorente is a credible, proven backup for Kane who we wouldn't worry about putting in the starting XI for cup games/if Kane is injured or suspended, while a decent run in a Swansea/Stoke/Newcastle/Watford-type team would let us know whether VJ can cut it at this level or whether we need to move him on at no risk to ourselves.

Correct, looks like we may very well have just put the nail in the coffing for old Tonio.

Decent range of goals here, not just headers. Gonna sound weird but he could be our Giroud, a lot of people don't rate him but he can cause mayhem from the bench.

My only worry is its all within the box. Strikers who have success here often need to have range or they tend to get easily stifled here it seems.

Really like this move. Much better than Janssen and having an experienced world cup winner can only be good for our young squad. His games never been about pace so should have another 3/4 years left at the top.

WBA has bid 25m yesterday for Janssen. He is gone IMO
