And missing their top striker, something he failed with in the past. He's coming it at the worst time as well, as Forest will have 7 players unavailable due to AFCON in Jan/Feb.

Not true. He won very game without his top striker for spurs….And missing their top striker, something he failed with in the past.
More a reference to the way Wolves completely collapsed after Jimenez fractured his skull. Not true. He won very game without his top striker for spurs….
Isn’t that the only selling point to himMaybe Mendes has given the nod to a few of his players coming in on loan?
So apparently Morgan Gibbs-White and Nuno fell out big time while at Wolves. And he's probably Forest's best player...
I suspect the worst time will happen after he joins. He's coming it at the worst time as well, as Forest will have 7 players unavailable due to AFCON in Jan/Feb.
I don't think they will get relegated, purely because Luton, Sheffield and Burnley are terrible and pretty much dead certs to go down this season. He'll be down in the mix though I suspect and very surprised to see him still in the role by xmas 2024 as they panic againmark my words, they sack Cooper and bring in Nuno, they are getting relegated. Nothing against the guy, he's nice, but I just don't see it working out there.
Any chance of a paste for non subscribers?
Who cares about Nuno, and NFFC for that matter? Nuno barely made an impression to warrant a thread continuing in Spurs Chat. Ironically, this post will bump this thread.
I would disagree with that. I feel the expectation at NF would be completely different than what it was for us. If you look at the circumstances (better described as a circus) when we signed him, he had already failed before even picking a first team.mark my words, they sack Cooper and bring in Nuno, they are getting relegated. Nuno is a good manager and in the right settings he could make a manager.
To be fair to Nuno, he gave us some tough games and they did attack us with intent.Nuno mainly did OK at Wolves because Mendes sent a load of players his way who Wolves would historically never have a sniff of getting. Don't think anything like that will be happening at NFFC and he'll have to work with what he's got. Can't see him doing any better than Cooper if that's the case.
