What wizardry is this!?!?!??

I've always wondered why we don't do more business outside of windows and then just sign the paperwork on day 1?
Well the selling club have to agree to it, of course. But if a club doesn't want to entertain business during a season, there's no reason to not make pre-agreements like this in the week immediately after the season ends.

Logic dictates it should be a lot more common than it actually is.

He's like an 8/10 in everything. Like what we thought Ross Barkley could be.
An 8/10 in everything as a 19yo midfielder would mean he's already one of the best in the world, and he's doing it at an elite level.

How many other central mids would you say are 8/10 in everything?

Really? 11 goals and 4 assists in the championship equates to 34mil?

Haven't watched him but that's a lot to ask in production & a jump in competition.

He had 3 goals & 1 assist two seasons ago in the prem.

He's 21 with bags of potential - and the way they're picking them at the mo...

That club gets shit done.

When was the last time we announced a signing outside a transfer window? Modric is the only one I can remember.

Watford's season is basically done with one game left. They can't get play offs and can't go down. So to them it makes no difference doing that now.

I know what you mean about us, but we got plenty done very early last summer. Okay it wasn't before the window, but they were there for the tour.

As for us currently, we don't have a DOF or manager so nothing will be done until they're both in.

Four players who you not only think but even expect will dominate world midfields for 10 years or more, replacing two of the best midfielders of the previous generation.

They're doing a lot right.
Be interesting to see who they replace Benzema with

I know not all transfers are hits, but Brighton's system seems to identify some of the best young talent available.

I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a success with them but nothing is guaranteed in football.

Except Arsenal bottling of course but that's irrelevant.
