Remains to be seen if this season was a one off for Tielemans or if he, despite his age still, isn't as good as he used to be.
Bad news for us because I can't see them going for GLC as well.

In parallel with Leicesters down fall? Personally I’ve never been a fan but it could work for him at Villa. Be an interesting watch who they bring in this summer
Good point, well put… forgot they were in Europe .. all the better for Ange to bed-in at spurs …Picking up squad players for European football..
That’s a good thing. I’m fed up with all these bigger teams poaching our players.Bad news for us because I can't see them going for GLC as well.
Another example of a club with a vision acting swiftly and decisively - 2 weeks after season end!
Of course we will. Are we really going to have this sort of post everytime another club signs a player before we sign anyone?

Amazing how free signings and players with release clauses generally go quicker. We signed Perisic a week after the season ended last year.
Yea but we couldn't get angry and shouty about that, doesn't fit the narrative. We signed Perisic a week after the season ended last year.
Only thing that makes a lot of sense is the system they play with several more attacking midfielder’s. That role could suit him quite well in theoryCould be good business for them, but it’s definitely a gamble. He’s gone off the boil the last 18 months, and it’s telling no bigger clubs went in for him.

Scored 25 times for Derby last season but wants to end his career at his home club where he first signed pro terms.
Nice story.

We've got no DoF and officially no manager yet, all after a terrible season and with a disjointed and bloated squad.
So yes, we've got a lot of work to do but none of us know what's happening behind the scenes and it's not going to be a quick fix.
It's going to get boring fast if we have to keep reading this sort of thing.
Seriously? It's a free transfer. There's no transfer negotiation. You just have to decide you want the player and beat the competition.
The timeframe is very obviously going to be quicker.

Besides, who doesn't enjoy peoples' Levy/ENIC grinding infesting every thread, I know I sure do......
We signed a player on a free transfer last summer in the same time period. No need to be a bunch of sarcastic Arseholes, all I said was they’ve acted quickly and decisively! Something we’ve not done in the manager search and in previous years.
this place is an absolute cesspit when someone cares to give an opinion on something and everyone jumps on.

You’ve used a really poor example at your attempt at a Levy bash in a thread where it’s not relevant.
Things like that are making the forum a cesspool as much as anything.
No it’s not. I gave one example of us acting quickly. The factor being that it was a free transfer. We also signed Bissouma early as he had a release clause. On that basis how many times have we acted that swiftly? Once in a blue moon, so yours is a poor example of us acting quickly.
