"Window shut. Watford alone in 2015-16 spent more, net, than Arsenal, Spurs, Villa, Saints, Swans, Norwich COMBINED."

I see Charlton have signed someone who sounds like a character from Carry on Football - if such a film had ever been made.

I didn't know where to post this but anyway...is it normal for a team to have this many ex-players in the same league at once? o_O (edit: I had the 3 Hull players included initially but it still seems like a lot)

Gomes
Naughton....Kaboul....Caulker....Fryers
Lennon...Sandro...Capoue...Townsend
Defoe......Adebayor

Subs: Crouch, Sigurdsson, Bassong, Hutton, Pienaar

Garde's about to quit:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
At the end of the season is what I've read. But I'd be amazed if he bothered to stick around that long. Not his fault they're in the mess and he should seek to disassociate himself with them as quick as he can.

Jackson Martinez gone to China. 45m euros

Well that one came from out of nowhere. I thought I had seen a rumour of Falcao going to China but Martinez is unexpected.

China has a staggering amount of cash and Guangzhou Evergrande's ownership group (Taobao/Alibaba and Evergrande) have a near incomprehensible amount of money and an ownership group that seems hell bent on making football in China a big deal.

That Martinez deal is crazy. If we had any other crap to offload it's the best place now to look to.
