He's been injured for ages hardly a competition. Before that could barely play for city.

Lol he's injured now but when he's fit he is Brazil's back up striker and also happens to be the striker who leads the line for the club that finished second in the league last season so he can't be that bad.

He was injured most of last season.

He played 26 times for Arsenal last season and contributed 11 goals - he made a significant contribution to their season. Even when he was fit Richarlison was seen as the number one striker for Brazil. There was a lot of debate about it around the world cup but it centred around the fact Richarlison scores when he plays for Brazil but Jesus rarely does.

Whatever way you cut it Richarlison is a an effective striker for Brazil no matter who is competition is.

Can't believe that the guy I saw score two goals for my local team Stabæk in the Norwegian cup a year ago, now is one of the most sought after players in Europe. Madness!

From the bits and pieces I've seen I'd say the word that describes him best is 'clinical'. Even though the standard of defending is often poor he usually manages to put the ball right in the corner of the net, or gives the keeper no chance. Great attributes for a striker. I've seen a lot that manage to scuff attempts that wobble into the net, but Orban looks like he can strike a ball cleanly with either foot.

Going by reports he was very poor last night and some have described as the worst player on the pitch.
Maybe his head has been turned or maybe as happens with young players he’s inconsistent.

If we do sign him we’ll need to be patient with him and not expect him to be the new Harry Kane.

They won their first leg 5-0 so probably not the best game to judge his performance.

This is what we’re going to find out this season. Playing for an attacking team as the central striker for Brazil Richarlison scores goals. Can he translate that form playing as a striker for an attacking team in the prem.

We really don’t know yet but the point is there is evidence he has the skill set to thrive in an attacking system.

Listened to Ange in presser today and when talking about transfers said we are purposely going younger and trying to build something. Makes me think Orban is the guy.

Perhaps but Dusan Vlahovic is hardly old! It would be nice to see us build a younger squad for the future but also that those players can integrate now and improve!

I think a few younger players now and we have a decent blend!

I think its also why Kane has left as we're clearly going back to what we started under Poch. I bet he even has in mind that he could come back when the project is a couple years old. I think we have to try and build a young squad together with the hope they develop into top players together. It worked so well before and then we tried the win now approach with Jose and Conte. This is the right way for us though.
