The two youngsters I wanted us to at least have a look at this summer were Orban and Doku.

Looks like we might just get one of them.

Obviously like 99% of us I've never seen him play but this sort of signing is what it feels like we should be making.

Young , hungry , doing the business and on his way to the top. If the scouts think he is good enough then bite the bullet because if they're right we won't even try and get him after his next move.

Remember when we absolutely had to sign Daka and if we didn’t sign Daka and he went to another club we’d regret it forever?

Not saying Orban is definitely that, but the breathlessness he’s spoken about with, you’d think he’s a plug and play player

You are absolutely right - there is certainly risk
But you bring a very good player for comparison.

First of all , Belgium ranks better than Austrian league. Also, Daka didnt set the world alight in CL or EL or even in conference league. Orban has smashed the conference league last seeason.

Also, Daka is actually not a flop yet. Daka has not played more than 1200 minutes in PL in 2 seasons. He has 9 goals 7 assist in 2200 minutes which is actually very decent.

Problem for Daka has been Leicester has bee bad and Rodgers didnt use him well

Now this season, Roma is looking to sign him for 20m€, which is actually only 5m less than his buying price.

Just by Daka comparison, IMO, Orban for 30-35m is not a bad deal. Worst case, we could still sell him for decent fee

Championship probably, as that is considered the 7th richest.
You'd consider a striker with 1 in 1 in the Championship.
Yeah if he was banging them in down in the championship people likely wouldn’t be too concerned. That’s a good comparison.

The vision, ball control and outside of the boot passing , with great weight on it.... at 44 seconds
That to me says a lot more. He is more than just a finisher.
when I saw him I thought he was a goalscoring Am. Great manipulation of the ball and strong finishes with both feet honestly makes him such an asset. Can probably play with son or Richarlison and they can move around the wings and cf spot.

The thing that he clearly lacks is aerial & physicality.
If there is one thing that could stop him in PL is physicality.
Currently, he doesnt get involved in tussles with CBs coz he knows he is good enough. So, he almost plays like Jesus always avoiding physical duels, but on the edge or back of the CBs
