I think it’s better to consider the players that have come from there. Belgian league has produced amazing talentI must admit i’ve never heard of him. How strong is the league he is playing in?

@Hercules said we're talking.Has there actually been a credible link to this kid yet beyond us making an enquiry?
I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong and hope I am proven wrong, and to suggest I'm constantly thinking the worst of my club based on one post is a bit extreme. Each to their own mate, but it must be pretty miserable for you and fans like you who continually think the absolute worst of your club ! We will see what happens but i don't see it like that at all, i'll continue to be positive until something happens to change my view, i think we'll continue to get Ange the players he wants - in his presser he seemed more than happy that the plan they've made is moving along nicely, that's good enough for me.
I wasn't having a go at you , i tried to phrase it as light heartedly as possible, but there seem to be lots of fans who are so wrapped up in the anti Levy stuff it feels like they are missing out on the excitement that should come with a new manager, a new season, new players etc etcI'd be more than happy to be proven wrong and hope I am proven wrong, and to suggest I'm constantly thinking the worst of my club based on one post is a bit extreme.
Based on years of overwhelming evidence that Levy drags his heels on transfers especially at late and at crucial points in the transfer windows means we're very often playing catch up because games are being played in the meantime whilst we're under cooked and not ready. The fans who speak out about this are not the problem, Levy is the problem and hindrance. His way of dealing puts us in the minus column every season. I'd go as far as saying that with him at the centre of dealings or back seat driving in the background, is usually the equivalent of a minus 10-12 points every season. How he can't see or even acknowledge this or realise his way is creating this perennial problem is what frustrates many of us.
I accept I'll get negative reps by people trying to defend him or saying I'm straying off topic but I'm way past the point of caring on that front.
We haven’t been in the minus column for ever. Last season was our best start.I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong and hope I am proven wrong, and to suggest I'm constantly thinking the worst of my club based on one post is a bit extreme.

Interestingly, many, many SC members will say ... "this is the sort of signing I like". Can't win I guess.I really don't know about this player. Feels like another player, Levy will buy in hopes he will do good and can earn a few bucks on.
Why can't Levy for one time just go out and buy 1 quality player instead of 2 -3 mayby players, to then 2 years later spew out bullshit like "we spend the money"
1 good season in Belgium, talks shit about other PL Clubs, will probably just be on our bench and not develope. Not convinced
The thing here is that we are now operating on a data led response. That wasn’t happening for a long while. In fact our data team was stolen by Liverpool around the time they came good.So many posters and YouTubers talking like this guy is something special after half a season. I really get the vibe he’ll be another of those players that we sign with great hope only to see him sold in 4-5 years having barely played for us. I prefer the deals for the Argentina kid where there is little to no expectation so can only go u
I would like signings like this if we were a club not planning to fight for CL spots. It is why Brighton, Southampton etc develope players that are "maybys" because they can actually play and develope them.Interestingly, many, many SC members will say ... Yeah, people want us to sign as well as Brighton, but hopefully prove more likely to retain top prospects when they come good. But then also complain when we aren't paying £50m+. Go look at the hype around big money signing Ndombele when we first got him.Interestingly, many, many SC members will say ... "this is the sort of signing I like". Can't win I guess.
Think it needs a mix of both to be honest. Sign the prospects to keep succession planning and boosting the team longer term, but we got to pay up when top quality players in positions we need are availableI would like signings like this if we were a club not planning to fight for CL spots. Spurs have all the pressure that they need to perform and fight for that 4th/5th spot or the stadium will go mental, so will probably be on the bench and not get the gametime they need to develope.
Levy's mental focus is still back in 2005, we need to follow the big boys. If spurs pay 55 mil for one player, they think they are spending HUGE , while the others around us are at 80 - 110 mill on one player.
Will never see Spurs be ambitious with Levy in charge, he will spend that 80-110, yes, but it will be on 3-4 players.
I suggest you see or read the latest stuff from our manager, because to me it seems abundantly clear that he is the one driving the signings and he is the one looking to build the squad in the way he wants it to be, rather than looking to replace an irreplaceable superstar with a £100m superstar.I would like signings like this if we were a club not planning to fight for CL spots. He has scored two European hat tricks. We can say it’s only the conference league or the champs league qualifiers but how many hat tricks did Kane get when we were in those competitions? So many posters and YouTubers talking like this guy is something special after half a season. You’re working on a 6:1 ratio thereMoises Caicedo, Osimhen, Mitoma, Jonathan David, Jeremy Doku, Milenkovic-Savic… for every one of these players that came through the Belgian leagues I can name highly rated players that have flopped (Sambi Lokonga at Arsenal was very special at Anderlecht for instance), but I bet the clubs that have purchased these guys are very happy with how it turned out.
All this referencing to the weakness of the Belgian league is very relative. Every transfer is 50-50, but these are the sort of deals we should be looking at.
That’s not the point and definitely off topic. You’re working on a 6:1 ratio there
So give us the other 5
Hardly. I think it’s a fair commentThat’s not the point and definitely off topic.
He is the one Driving the signings?Really? in his pressers he has been saying he hasa no influence over the transfer dealings, he litterlay said that. Ofc he will have told who he wants adn he will get some of his players , but have you seen anything from Levy the last 20 years that he will change? The manager have a say up to a point and if the manager look at players in the 10 to 30 mill bracket, yes Daniel is all smiles.......I suggest you see or read the latest stuff from our manager, because to me it seems abundantly clear that he is the one driving the signings and he is the one looking to build the squad in the way he wants it to be, rather than looking to replace an irreplaceable superstar with a £100m superstar.
Again, it's the default setting of so many fans to jump in and blame Levy, even when the manager has literally just said something that suggests otherwise.
I'm struggling for a suitable response, i'm pretty sure you've made up your mind about Levy and Spurs and absolutely nothing can change that.He is the one Driving the signings?Really? in his pressers he has been saying he hasa no influence over the transfer dealings, he litterlay said that. i am not suggesting we are replacing Kane, but what about all the other reports 2-3 years back with ending up with the likes of Rodon, Lenglet etc instead of just investing on a quality CB. Soon as a club say no , you will ahve to pay 60 instead of the 45 you want, Levy just goes and loans cheap or buys Rodon and Spence isntead. It has always been like this. But i guess if anyone is a Levy fan they will always be, no matter what.
