There's apparently rumours that he might go to Napoli - do they have any truth?

Yes and those are not the only 3 clubs interested in him but we only received offers from Arsenal and Juventus which were rejected. Once the confed. cup is over clubs like Chelsea, Man City, Napoli, Man Utd if they sell Rooney, Bayern, the 2 rich French clubs[PSG tried to sign him last summer] and I suppose others will be on the market for a striker so it's too early to assume where he might go based on interest.

Higuaín agreed terms with Juventus [€7m net, after tax], on the 9th when they came to play the annual charity Corazón Classic Match Juventus offered €25m in 5 payments which was rejected. Now they are saying he's not their only target and are looking at other players. Juventus don't have money. Arsenal can't afford him too - their wage offer is almost half what Higuaín want, and they are way off our asking price too.

His dad said both arsenal and juve have had advanced talks but nothing is agreed with either and it won't happen til ancelotti comes and gives the final say on him

I really do hope the goons cant afford him....:ROFLMAO: or it was a PR stunt to boost season ticket sale.

Maybe MCFC will come for him if Tevez goes to Juve.

We'd received 2 bids for Higuaín from Juventus[€25m] and Arsenal[€32m], both rejected. Higuaín has terms agreed with Juventus[7m net], and his father told the club Arsenal is not an option for Higuaín atm, but it's all about who offer the biggest wage and of course meet the club's asking price of €45m. Juventus are trying to raise funds to match our asking price and told him to wait.

o_O...........:ROFLMAO:

Can you name me a single source of where you got your information please?

Falcao just went for €60m, if you want quality you pay for quality, or there's always the option of the onest and ard working English lad like Darren Bent and Andy Carroll.

You'd soon find out when you see Wenger lined up next to Agbonlahor saying We tried to sign Higuaín but his price was out of my reach

Just like I thought.....stop talking out of your ass; no sources or anything...just making up shite as you go. Where did you get the 45m figure from? The most reliable source (besides BBC) Skysports are announcing that we're in Spain to complete his transfer which will cost £22m & £100k per week in wages.

Mate, I can't see you lasting too long on here with comments like that. I'm not having a dig, I don't mind opposition fans coming on here as long as they're not confrontational, like Toela65, our resident Liverpool fan who often gives us handy insights into Liverpool related transfers/opinions. But having a look at your previous posts I'm not sure whether you're here to offer an honest (albeit partially biased) opinion or just here to troll and get ultimately wum.

I do hope it is the latter as no one is really interested in the opinion of a Gooner, particularly an overly biased one.

I'm not coming here to troll at all. I just found it funny how that guy kept posting all that information without a single source to back it up.

Fair enough, but you'll understand of course why people might not take lightly to your comments if you say things with negative connotations. I'd expect the same sort of treatment were I a Spurs fan on a Gooner forum, which is something I very much doubt I'd do. The problem is, being a Gooner, you're likely to piss someone off without even trying and be pissed off yourself by people not taking you seriously. Not really sure why you'd want to participate as a poster on here, it's an inevitable argument waiting to happen. But hey, it's a free country.

Just curious...after BBC what source is the most reliable one when it comes to football in the UK?

I think it very much depends on the club to be honest - for instance, we tend to take the Telegraph's Jason Burt very seriously because he's close to AVB and doesn't actually post nonsense. Sky...tend to be pretty sensationalist as far as i'm concerned. How many of the deals that their sources 'understand' actually come to fruition? When they are right, it seems that's because it's very late in the deal. Sometimes they get good scoops but I certainly wouldn't take them as gospel.
