Its becoming more like the Bale situation everyday, majority of ITK's have the opinion that Kane will be here another season. However, theres the one or two like JJ who are of the opinion he is gone!

Dislike the way he’s gone about this I must say
I hear you but reality is there's very few ways to force Levy into the sale and Levy could not make it look like he wanted to sell Kane.
Kane's Goonies looking brother has obviously brought in some knowledgeable people in background to instigate all of this

Levy stood firm on Eriksen, getting circa the £20m he asked for in his final year of his contract.

Covid is irrelevant in terms of any impact on Kane’s fee. The club doesn’t want to sell him therefore they’re going to insist on top dollar.

We’ve a player in his prime, on a long contract and regardless of his injuries he’s still producing excellent goal scoring and record breaking assists every season.

If Neymar and M’bappe are both worth over £200m then Kane certainly is too. Neymar’s fitness is no better than Kane’s and he’s very hit and miss. M’bappe is immensely talented and is also a goal scorer but he’s also suffered with injuries and has scored nowhere near the amount of goals/assists as Kane.

Accepting anything less than £200m should be an outright rejection from Levy. A part exchange may be acceptable but the selling clubs need to be realistic on their valuations. The report of Martial + £50m is laughable as the paper concerned were rating Martial at £100m. He’s a good player but inconsistent, questionable attitude and struggles with injuries, he’s worth nowhere near £100m.

I can just about live with him going to City partly because I don't have any City mates. Him going to ManU is a massive no no as my ManU mates would be smug *****. Chelsea is just unacceptable full stop. Levy would get lynched if he let him go there and I couldn't see Kane doing that to us either.

Exactly what I was going to post.

A very good friend of mine is the typical crowing ManU fan (been a bit quiet the last few years) and he would be intolerable if Kane went to United.

He’d be such an unbelievably smug bar steward!

Taking my Spurs biased glasses off, Kane will score 40+, if not 50+, goals in that City side. He will compete for the PL and CL every season, and be in the Ballon d’or shortlist every year, and may go down in history as probably the greatest English player ever. None of that will happen if he stays with us.

I should start by saying that losing a player of the ability Kane possesses can never be a good thing...

However, having around £200m when we sell our deadwood will make for an exciting summer at least.

Unfortunately, we’re trusting that money with one of the worst recruitment teams ever.

If by exciting you mean like brain surgery without anaesthetic then I make you right.

Absolutely essential we get the recruitment right. I’m gutted to lose him, but if we invest well we could cover it.

I just hope we manage to replace him properly. Daka or Isak would be my choice.

There’s certainly some good young/circa 25 years of age strikers out there.

Isak
En Nesyri
Andre Silva
Vlahovic

The above 4 have all been scoring for fun this season.

All about getting as much money and potentially players as possible, there’s a couple I’d take off them I think they’d let go. People have to remember JJ isn’t the type of ITK to say things to get his word out. He knows everything he says is heavily scrutinised. If he’s saying this it’s essentially a wrap.

What did JJ say?

Levy should ask for an additional £10m for every trophy they win with Kane. Would get us an extra £40M in league cups alone.

Spot on. He has to go for that reason. He goes with all our blessing I’m sure.

Hope we can work it out professionally and without acrimony, so that he may want to return in a few years time...

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
If he leaves I would never want him near us again. His I love Spurs BS, if you love something or someone you dont leave them when they need you most, just another mercenary.

I wouldn’t worry about not having European football... given the UK are the only country heading in the right direction, current players and potential acquisitions aren’t going to want to be visiting risky countries with poor Covid controls.

Where did JJ give the opinion he’s gone? Last one I saw he said he had no idea if he’d be here or not. Have I missed a JJ update?

More people with a totally warped and unhealthy understanding of modern football I see. No player values a club over their own career. None. It’s easy for players who have already retired to sit back in the Sky studio (e.g. Neville and Carragher) and act that way. But they were never truly in a position to be tempted by a move in their careers.

After his sky interview and the fact he's pushing to go to a rival rather than abroad the second he puts on a rivals shirt all blessing and good will is gone he's the enemy.
