I really hope it doesn’t drag on for months as we need to add replacements and get them jelled into the team as quick as possible.

Remember what happened with Bale. He didn’t officially go till near enough deadline day. We still spent the cash first though.

I think we will spend the cash first and all int he while tryign to keep Kane. If Kane leaves then we have covered the spend and if he stays well - we could win stuff

IMHO Kate Kane’s Instagram post could be just another method of applying pressure knowing anything they post will likely get picked up in the media.

Considering the low tactics used so far by Kane’s people and himself it wouldn’t surprise me at all if this is just another one.

With the Euros on for a month I can't see it dragging on needs a decision one way or the other quickly.

I still can't see how Levy sells him.

How does he sell that to the Spurs fans after the season we've just had? Absolutely mental.

Glad I'm not giving a penny more to the club now. If Levy sells, it just confirms even further there is absolutely fuck all ambition.
Agree crossroads for Levy, start walking the walk. Call Harry in and inform him we are going to keep for the remainder of his contract.

That was a BOE loan taken at 0.5% interest. It would have been negligent not to take it as it is such good business. In the year since we took that loan the FTSE index has risen 17% - Levy would have made ~£30M profit on a FTSE 100 index tracker with the interest payable on the loan just ~£2.5M. Overall profit £27.5M.
Interest is 800k

Not the usual “we go again next season” style of end of season post from Kane

At this point it’s very clear he will be at least asking to leave initially. I think the managerial appointment and willingness of City to pay will be much more important than his personal desire though

Jenas has just said he doesn’t think Kane has it in him to get himself out of the football club. I do tend to agree and it is what Levy will play on. He will appeal to Kane’s love of the club and use it against him. It’s quite a good trump card

@wadewill how can you disagree this after what he has given us the last 7 years!

Doesn’t define a legend in my book, sorry if it doesn’t tie up with your definition.

He could have been, he chose not to by what he is and has been doing over the past few weeks

No doubt in my mind he has been tapped up and is now going through the motions he’s been told to do, in order to get a move
